    Your new go-to.

Don't make the mistake of thinking you have to buy top-end race kit just to ride in a well-crafted bib short. The area between budget and pro-level kit is vast, and no other brand makes premium materials and expert fit accessible to a variety of riders like Giordana does. Add the newly redesigned SilverLine Bib Short to your rotation and enjoy its everyday versatility and impressive fit on your next ride.

Giordana crafts the SilverLine out of a silky woven synthetic that will wick moisture away from your skin while lending some stabilizing compression to your muscles as they work. Take a few weeks off from riding if life gets in the way, and the SilverLine's streamlined, but not unforgivingly contoured, cut won't make you feel guilty the way a pair of race bibs would. Plus, the Cirro chamois' plush, breathable cushioning will welcome you back to the saddle whether it's been a day or a month since your last ride.

The bib straps themselves are even lighter than the short; made with Giordana's LowPro 0 material, the seamless microfiber straps disappear under a jersey, pulling moisture away from your skin alongside the 190 Mesh added to the bib's center. As you move around in the saddle, supportive 4.5cm elastic leg cuffs hold the short in place without pinching. Head out near sunset and the short's reflective rear striping will work with your tail light and other reflective gear to help you stay visible to motorists.

    • Everyday bib short delivers versatility and comfort
    • Streamlined fit appropriate for training rides
    • Lightweight synthetic fabric wicks moisture and holds shape
    • Seamless bib straps and mesh bib allow for air flow

What do you think about this product?

    Have questions about this product?

    Sharp looking and super comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 185lbs

I bought these based on other reviews, and the fact that the light blue leg trim gels with a bunch of other gear I have. And, I'd like to find a "go to" set of bibs in a product line that doesn't disappear every season.

Very comfortable chamois; I don't notice any see-thru issues like others report (I asked my wife specifically about this). I rarely ride beyond 60 miles in a crack, but definitely feel like I could go a whole lot longer before any comfort issues would arise. I'm 5'10"; 185 lbs with a little bit of beer belly, and the L was almost too small. But, I think an XL would be too loose, which is what I take in Giordana shirts. Dropping those 10 extra pounds would totally dial in the fit, I think. In any case, it's completely fine in the riding position, so I'm calling it "true to size".

    Great pad, great fabric

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 140lbs

The cirro pad is great, for those who like a minimal pad. After a few rides, with chamois cream, it begins to really shine. The fabric is interesting, a waffle'like compression gig. Guessing those with hair on their legs may take issue with the leg grippers, but... I like em'. Only complaint is that I need to let out the bib straps. The straps seem a bit short compared to older Giordana bibs. That said, for the price, I don't think these can be beat.

loved the World Champ Bib so tried these

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: large
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 162lbs

I was a fan of the World Champ bib over the last 2 or 3 years and purchased these hoping they would be similar. The chamy is fine but the uppers rub uncomfortably in my chest. probably just a personal preference but if you are also looking for a world championship bib replacement I would not recommend these, i still choose my 1 year old World Champ bibs over these

    best out there

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 140lbs

I have Rapha, Assos, izumi etc bibs...when its coming down to a long day in the hills I grab the Silverline. Im 5'8 140 and the medium is perfect....nice compression on the legs. This material is a definite improvement over the older models, its much more durable. If you find them on sale grab a few of them. The chamois is excellent blows away both the Assos and Rapha chamois I have. Believe it or not I use the Assos bibs on daily training rides and the silverline on the big ones....it was supposed to be the other way around ...

    LOVE THESE BIBS

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 175lbs

I ordered both the Lungo and Silverline and in all honestly I feel that these are anatomically superior (for my body type).

The thigh paneling material wraps around with a comfortable level of compression while providing exceptional mobility.

The straps are nice and wide and don't bunch up. The leg length is on the longer side, but very comfortable with the cuff staying put where it should.

The chamois is superb, very, very comfortable. First ride 80 miles, I truly forgot I was wearing them. I have a plethora of high end bibs, much more expensive than these, but none are nearly as comfortable. Truly impressive comfort!

Get one, get two or even three, you won't regret it.

    Great padding, pretty comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 170lbs

Purchased these for a couple of long days in the mountains. I'm 5' 10", 170# and got large. These were snug, but not uncomfortable. I did not wash them before the first long ride and the bib straps were rough on the nipples. A good wash fixed that (the straps I mean, not the nipples). Have had about a dozen rides of 3 hours plus and really like these bibs.

My 14 year old loves them!

I got these shorts for my son who just started riding a year ago and is going to be racing in the HS MTB league this Fall and is quite excited. With that being said, I figured it's time to get him some shorts that wouldn't be my "old" hand me downs.
I've sold Giordana for many, many years and have always loved their product and it's never disappointed. A great way to start for him, with something that I grew up with at the same age. When I asked him about them his response, "dad they're great! They fit well, and are comfortable." Yeah, that is what I'd expect from him. Now I think I need to order some!
Size information below is based off of his measurements. If you have questions about Giordana or anything else, please reach out.

Excellent Bibs - I forget I'm wearing em

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 158lbs

I am a solid Giordana fan. My winter kits is all FR-C wind bib tights and bib knickers, and these shorts are on par. They are so comfortable, I forget about them.

IMHO much better than Castelli Velicissimo, PI Pro bibs, Ale, and Sugoi RS Pro, which I have all owned. Different chamois fit different people, but I these are my dedicated long day cycling bibs.

Interestingly, these Silverline bib shorts even fit better and are more comfortable than their Silverline Bib knickers from a couple of years ago. Your mileage may vary, but I love mine.

Oh, and depending on your build, you might size up. Though, I don't think they run as small as Castelli sizing. In the 150's you might be able to get away with Mediums, so you could try both.

    Comfortable - Slightly Small

Very comfortable bib with great chamois, I ride on a bontrager race saddle and i barely felt a thing. the elastics around the legs is comfortable and still slightly snug. Hardly notice the straps and the material is solid. Ridden in them once and are hoping they hold up.
Would recommend. I read in past reviews that it runs small and sized up for the perfect fit (Large). Happy with this product

    Great Value

Overall great shorts. Only complaint is with the new design of the bib straps. While I like the minimalism of the straps, it causes the top of the shorts to rub your stomach, rather than lay flat like the old shorts/bibs. Also if you wear a jersey that is borderline too small, like I do, rather than showing a little bit of the bibs like on previous shorts your stomach will show. With that said I definitely buy them again.

    The Best

Silverline bibs are the best at this price. Very comfortable overall, fit true to size and the chamois located in a great position for both upright and aggressive riding. Has a thicker pad that is ideal for long rides and wide straps that lay flat on shoulders. Have used for a year and have not seen any decrease in quality or major stitching issues that I have experienced with Castelli bibs at this price point. Certainly a go to bib!

Great piece at a great price

Hard to beat these Giordana bibs at this price point. Solid construction, great looks, and a good fit.

    Great fit

    • Size Bought: LARGE

Runs true to size. Chamois fit and feel is good, even after 50 miles. Flat seams and nice compressive fit.

    Great bib short

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 175lbs

I have a variety of higher end bib shorts but these are one of the best! They fit perfectly (Medium), the fabric provides some compression and aerodynamic properties but the best part is the chamois! The chamois provides a ton of comfort without feeling bulky plus a middle groove for your guys parts. Great for long rides. Only slight negative is the material on the rear panel is very thin and I could see over time this becoming mildly see through.

    Great, butt. . .

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 160lbs

I love the new design, the new fabric, look, etc. The Silverline was my go-to weekday, i.e. short ride, bibs. Excellent upgrade of the chamois in this new iteration. I returned them, though. My first ride, my wife was riding behind me and started laughing, almost uncontrollably. The rear panels of the fabric are sheer to the rear, I couldn't see for myself, but she swears the moon was full. We usually chuckle when someone rides by wearing bibs that should have been retired three seasons ago for the same reason. These are brand new. . . a little too modest, I guess. I have to find another daily bib.

    Eureka!

After buying and using numerous other bibs (Castelli, Pearl Izumi, Specialized Body Geometry) I have finally found a pair that are totally comfortable. To preface, I am and have always been pretty lanky and skinny - and riding has just exacerbated this trait. I own two pair of Giordana bibs, compared to other brands their chamois is more firm and substantial, it is the only brand that I have used that didn't have me fidgeting and adjusting constantly. For my bony ass these bibs are by far my favorite.

    Great Shorts but.....

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: xxl

These have been my husbands favorite. Unfortunately twice now on two different pairs of shorts that were minimally used the chamois has separated and bunched up. The shorts are in less than new shape, but again not used to the point where you would expect this. We have older shorts made by other manufacturers that are still in riding shape. Not sure if Giordano has changed anything in the way they are made. Also just to keep it real, they are washed in cold water, in a new machine without the tub rotate bar, with only cycling gear and hung to dry. Will be looking for another quality bib next go round.

I just had the same problem with 2 pairs of these shorts. The pad separated and bunched up inside the two surrounding layers and now the shorts are unusable. shorts were great until this happened and am now very disappointed. Never had this problem with other bib shorts at any price range. I contacted Giordana and am hoping they stand behind their product.

    Great Value

As the price points of bib shorts continues to climb, Giordana's Silverline has always represented an incredible value without the compromise. This iteration is no different. Please note - I have always found Giordana's sizing to be a little more generous than other brands. I straddle the lines between S & M in most other brands, but I am a solid S in Giordana.

      Really comfortable.

Wore these on a century on a HOT day. They were great. No chaffing and the padding great all day.

      Unanswered Question

What is this Cirro chamois? I love my Cirro OF. I have not heard great things about the Cirro S. What do people think of this plain Cirro chamois?
