FR-C Pro Bib Knicker
Keep riding in comfort on those cool, but not too cold days, with the FR-C Pro Bib Knicker from Giordana. Its constructed from its cozy Super Roubaix material featuring a thermal fabric with a brushed interior that's soft to touch and retains your body heat with just enough protection for the knees, while preventing you from overheating on those shoulder season rides.
Giordana placed Super Roubaix Endurance panels around the short area and lower leg for an increased stretch while its Super Roubaix Carbon is featured in its Core Contour System and from the knees to the leg openings to help fight fatigue. Up top, an office favorite FR-C Pro bib upper is stretchable, breathable, and supportive keeping everything in place and well-ventilated for comfortable pedaling. Last up is the Cirro S chamois helping to absorb road chatter and imperfections so you can focus on the ride instead of constantly shifting around to find a comfortable position in the saddle.

The FR-C Pro Thermal Bib Knicker is really really nice. The quality and excellent cut that Giordana is known for are well represented in this piece. I found they fit me well and were exactly what I wanted, not as compressive as some summer bibs and perfect for spinning in the off season. It’s lined with a fleecy material that feels good against the skin and the knees have just bit more protection without being restricting. I do wish the waist came up a bit higher to add a touch of warmth to my stomach but that’s just a personal preference. The straps have plenty of stretch which makes Giordana bibs my top recommendation for taller riders like me. I found these comfortable from the mid 30s up to the mid 60s which is a fairly broad range – without windstopper these breathe decently. If you’re putting in hard efforts and keeping your heart rate up your results may vary. These knickers are one of those pieces that disappear on the ride, ensuring you don’t have to worry about your layering in changing temperatures.
Are these shorts or knickers?
