Much better than the Fenix 6x Pro
I recently upgraded to the Fenix 7X Pro Solar and I am very happy with the touch screen, new features and extended battery life. The buttons also seem to function better. It gives more detailed info on your workouts and the GPS seems to be more accurate as well. I am glad that I upgraded although I kind of had to as after I fixed my old watch (cleaned the buttons as one of them was sticking), water vapor started to creep in and I broke the LED screen when trying to separate it from the watch face due to the vacuum effect from the water vapor. Can Garmin Fix for a fee?

Much more capable than Apple
I have had two Apple Watches and have always wanting more. The Fenix 7 Pro Solar sapphire even fully connected has battery life of 28 days and will recharge from the sun. The GPS, tracking and exercise monitoring are top notch. The abundance of great apps is unmatched.

The best Garmin watch
The Fenix 7X is an excellent watch. In my opinion, the battery is slightly less powerful compared to the 6X, despite the addition of solar charging – which doesn't seem to significantly impact battery life. The watch is sturdy, stylish, and highly resistant to scratches, unlike the earlier models in the Fenix 7 series. It locks onto GPS very quickly, is extremely accurate, and consistently reliable.

Worthy upgrade
Upgraded from the 6x pro solar. Worth it...flash light! Love how easy it is to use and how handy it is to have a flashlight on you at all times. Touch screen is nice, still getting used to it. I've had the Fenix series since 2016 and I am used to the button system. Would recommend upgrade to anyone.

Great watch… more that I expected… Garmin is great
I bought this watch couple weeks ago upgrading from a Fenix 6X pro sapphire. I was a little bit concerned about it being too bright at night and the battery life due to The AMOLED screen, but after a few weeks of wearing it, all my concerns are gone. Though the battery life is Shorter, I still get about six days from a full charge. The screen is amazing and so much placing into the eye. My original thought was to get the 8 but for the price difference, I decided to go with this one. Honestly, I could not justify the price difference and this has all the features that I need as I am not a diver… I use it for tracking HRV, heart rate, VO2 Max, sleep and performance mainly in running, swimming and biking byt do other sports… Garmin always knocks it out of the park for me.

Upgraded from the Fenix 5 . Love everything about the new watch. Better maps, feature, health metrics, etc. It is large, but it fits my wrist well.

Genie 7x Solar
Has all the features except as previous reviews note; display is sub par for the price. Just a trade off for the exceptional battery life.

It is as good as they say.
This is my third Garmin watch and probably my eighth Garmin product, I purchased it to replace a fenix 5 that had finally died. Definitely an upgrade, tons of new features and apps in a familiar and user friendly design. There are a bunch of YouTube videos out there that give in depth overviews and compare the fenix 7X to other watches in Garmins lineup, I would encourage anyone interested to watch them. Even if the Fenix 7X pro isn't what you are looking for, Garmin probably makes a watch that is.

Been wearing everyday since I got it. No complaints, still learning functions. Appreciate the sleep/activity tracking and recovery suggestion/coaching. The data seems to be fairly accurate based on how I feel and what the data shows. Best part is not having to charge everyday like I was the Apple Watch.
