Find your pace.

Cadence data is key to any serious training program, and the Garmin Bike Cadence Sensor is one of the cleanest designs out there. It mounts to your crank arm, and you don’t need to mount anything to your frame. That keeps your bike looking good. The Cadence Sensor is also easy to swap between bikes, so you can get cadence info for your TT bike, your road bike, and your mountain bike without having to buy separate systems. The Cadence Sensor easily syncs with your Garmin Edge computer, so you can begin collecting data right away.

Perfect for training on rollers

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Garmin Speed and Cadence sensors along with a Garmin device are a great way to track indoor rides. I use it to track speed, cadence, and distance on my rollers. It makes riding indoors so much more enjoyable, and costs less than alternative options.

Great cadence sensor, easy to pair

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I invariably forget my GPS on some rides and end up borrowing others', and this is so quick to pair up that it's never much of a hassle. Been ticking for three seasons and counting.

Easy and reliable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have this paired with a Garmin Edge 510 on my road bike and it's worked great for me. Paired right out of the box and has connected reliably ever since. The data seems accurate and I really like how low profile it is on my bike. The pod straps onto the left crank arm with a couple high strength rubber bands that are included in the box. The sensor is well hidden which is a nice touch if you've already got a GPS computer on your bike - no wires, wheel magnets, etc to clutter up your bike.

Unanswered Question

I already have the GSC10 but lost the Crank Magnet. Will this Sensor work with an Edge 800 that's already paired with the GSC10 for speed?
