    Works as advertised

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm using this with a Windows OS, Kickr trainer with Garmin cadence meter & heart rate monitor. Utlizing this with Trainer Roads and I have gotten reliable and accurate data.

Easy and fast setup, works as expected

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this so I could capture my heart rate while using Zwift. Here's my setup:
Tacx Neo - use this for power, speed, cadence
Mac Mini - I mirror the monitor using AirPlay (through Apple TV)
Ant+ USB stick - plugged into a USB slot on my Mac Mini, it captures my HR from my Garmin strap
    46" TV - displays Zwift
    iPhone - for Mobile Link
It took me longer to open the package than it did to be up and running with my HR. I don't enjoy having to "mess with" stuff, so this was perfect.

    Does What It Does

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased the Cycle Ops Hammer trainer, which connected with my phone / iPad no problem, however to run it through my iMac I needed to snag this ANT+ adapter. It works, does exactly what it needs to and since I already dropped $1299 on a smart trainer, what is another little bit to make it work with my computer.

    *****
I will note that the signal from this isn't super strong, on occasion it had trouble picking up my cadence sensor. I picked up a USB extension cable that allowed me to run this closer to my bike and it works flawlessly.

    WTF Garmin?

My Wahoo Kickr picks up ant+ on my apple products and works fine.

I bought this to run Zwift on my Windows 10, Intel I7 chipped computer and it doesn't read the Kickr. Total waste of money. I am not happy. On top of it, I contacted Zwift and they said it appears that my system isn't capable of running Zwift, when in fact it meets their extreme specs. Bottom line, if your running Windows don't waste your money, if your on an apple system, flip a coin

Does what it says on the tin

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Size Bought: NA
      • Height: 6'
      • Weight: 150lbs

Bought this as I wanted to get onto Zwift. It was suggested by Zwift and I prefer to buy kit made specifically by the manufacturer for given purpose.

I had all software downloaded and, In short it was expensive but worked as soon as I plugged it into my Mac. I finds my power meter and hr sensor instantly allowing me to get training with key data immediately.

      Unanswered Question

So I am assuming that the Garmin ANT + stick receives the signal from the heart rate monitor, cadence sensor and speed sensor and stores on my computer in real time? Then sends it to Zwift to be compared to other riders on the island

I have a classic trainer and a Garmin Edge 510 with a heart rate monitor , speed sensor , and cadence sensor, I do not have a power meter. if I buy your Ant + stick will I be able to use Zwift?

Will the new Garmin Ant + Stick (ANTUSB-m) work if I connect this to my Ipad Air 2 (IOS 9)? Thanks, Bruce
