Just what I was looking for

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These touring poles are great! Their collapse/expand range fits the bill and the powder baskets have been great in the backcountry. I really like the small, thoughtful features too, like the hook on the handle to quickly move my heel lifts up and down on the skin track. Love them!

    Awesome Touring Poles

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These touring poles are super great! Got for backcountry ski touring, and fit the bill. They are workhorses, strong and light, and everything you'd want in a pole. Easy to collapse, strong handle wraps, and on top of that, I love the poppy colors! I would recommend these for sure, and at a pretty good price too!

    Great Touring Pole

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I just picked these guys up to complete my touring set up. So far i am really stoked on them. They are relatively lightweight, easy to adjust and stable. The small features on these poles are also great. I like the removable wrist strap (although the strap itself is not the best). And the beak on the handle makes switching stack heights on your heel lift with touring bindings really easy. All in all these are a great cost effective poles for backcountry skiing.

    Great simple poles!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got these polls for xc skiing and touring and they work great. They collapse pretty small and aren't that heavy. I got a pair of the carbon versions of these, and they're almost unnoticeably heavier.

    Skiing and Hiking

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Been hiking with these and also skiing and they work great. It's a solid pole that doesn't feel like it will break or anything like that. The poles are well constructed and I really like the fact that you can unclip the hand straps.

    Awesome Touring Poles!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was in need of some new adjustable poles for touring. These have gone above my expectations. They're bombproof! I'm not one to spend money on poles because they usually have a short life span, but these still look new with a season under their belt. The grips are super comfortable and and they work great when flipping the riser over on my tech bindings. The locking switch is also great. You don't get any compression when you put a lot of weight on the pole like you do with some adjustable poles. All in all, a great set of poles.

    Generally fantastic, 2 small complaints

Brought these out to japan for a ski trip and they were great to pack and great on the trip.
Only two minor complaints are that (1) they occasionally rattle a bit when pole-planting at speed or when you're knocking away branches or whatever and (2) when unscrewing the baskets (which I did on the way out and back so they didn't get bent), the thread on the basket themselves loses a fair amount of plastic on each removal so I think they'll quickly lose their grip overall if you were to need to remove/install regularly.

      Great All-Around Pole

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great having an adjustable pole for various conditions. I used a shorter length through the trees and off-piste, full length for a backcountry ski tour and another length for the groomers. Adjusting is super easy and the lever only unintentionally opened once over the whole weekend. The hooks on the back end of the grips work great for pulling up the front/walk mode locks and flipping the rear risers on AT bindings.

Glad I went with the aluminum version as it held up to the abuse quite well.

      Tough as nails

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used these poles for a few seasons. They are light enough but seem to be indestructible. I guide full time in the winter and use my poles a lot to break dead branches, clean my boots, switch my bindings...I've broken lots of poles in the past but these are holding up really well.

      Unanswered Question

Are the lengths really as limited as listed? I'm looking at the short length with a range of 95-125. I usually ski at a 110, but tour at a 130-135.
