SEEKr 100 Elle Ski

Designed specifically for powder-hungry women and lighter-weight skiers, G3's ultralight, ultra-fun SEEKr 100 Elle Ski ensures you don't have to give up downhill performance in order to shave some pounds off your touring setup. The ski-anything 100mm waist will carry you through deep powder, zoom over wind crusts and ice, and wiggle smooth turns over late-season corn, all with ease. Paired with the longer early rise tip and tail for easy turn initiation and smear-ability, along with a slight underfoot camber to maintain stability and edge hold at higher speeds, this stick basically defines a good time. Weighing in at under six pounds per pair, all the fun comes in a tidy, lightweight package—complete with a durable nylon top sheet that prevents snow and ice buildup as you break trail— that maximizes your efficiency on the skin track so you have juice left to shred your line and go up again for more.

  • Turn the fun up with this ultralight, playful backcountry ski
  • Versatile 100mm waist can handle both powder and firm snow
  • Early rise tip and tail makes slarving and carving fun and easy

You can find something better

I've used it several times

It’s important to trust your skis in the backcountry and unfortunately these are not those skis. Initially, I really liked how lightweight and maneuverable these skis were. I quickly fell in love, but just as quickly (fourth time using them), I found that weight comprised the quality. The tip snapped when coming around on a turn in heavy snow. To be clear, I didn’t hit anything, didn’t fall, didn’t do anything remotely cool. This could be a fluke, but afterward I went to many ski shops to find a G3 dealer and each shop said the same thing. That G3 makes great bindings, but that they no longer sell their skis because of their poor quality. More disappointing than receiving a ski that wasn’t working out was receiving extremely poor customer service directly from G3. Find gear you can trust. Find gear that will last you. And find a company who will take care of you when they’ve screwed up.
