Made from high-modulus carbon fiber, this bar weighs in at a paltry 169g and features a compact drop for modern positioning and a comfortable stance. FSA utilizes a proprietary layup to ensure ample strength to endure the miles and adds a two-degree outward bend for extra comfort when digging for watts in the drops.

If you want to build up a lightweight bike, these are recommended. I bought a size 44cm and it came with a cool, signed tag that verified its weight at 178 grams. Pretty impressive. Upon install, I realized that the shape wasn't for me. The drop and reach were fine, but the ramp angle was too sharp and it prevented me from getting a flat bar-to-hood profile I was after with my SRAM Force Hydro levers. Maybe it would work better with Shimano or Campy hoods but I had a slight trough behind the hood so I ended up going back to the aluminum Zipp SL-70's I was running and even with the 70+ gram weight penalty, they are way comfier.
