This chalk is amazing. It is super fine you get a nice coat of chalk when you dip your hands into the bag. It feels grippier than other chalk that I've used. It almost feels sticky, but it feels great.

There's a lot of hype behind this chalk as people compare price point to functionality, and generally you can get chalk exceptionally cheap. But having gone through a full bag now I can vouch for this product on so many different levels. The different varieties of the Friction Labs chak is great depending on your preferences of consistency, but to me the unicorn dust is SO choice! It stays on your hands for longer than expected, and doesn't let weather affect how it will work. Just as well, it works great for lifting too, so if you need to get your bro-tein shake on, you're covered! 10/10 would high five using this chalk!

FrictionLabs Chalk is simply the most pure magnesium carbonate chalk you can get. It's all about that purity, and FL has the highest purity available. All climbing chalk is a blend of Magnesium Carbonate and Calcium Carbonate, and the stuff you want to keep your hands dry and the friction high is Mag/Carbonate. The stuff you don't want as much of is Calcium Carbonate. FrictionLabs blends of chalk has a higher concentration of magnesium carbonate than any other chalk. Extra stick, extra grip, and better friction. Unicorn Dust is the most fine blend, but t's the same concentration as the other blends. I prefer the UD for sport climbing, when you gotta chalk up fast and get a good coverage immediately. It's like Peanut Butter; some like it chunky, some like it creamy, but it's all the same (within the same brand). Try it and feel the difference.
