Why We Like The Transfer Performance Series Dropper CR Seatpost

Sweeping berms and undulating trails are best left uninterrupted by frequent stops to re-adjust a rigid post for the section ahead. That's why we opt to preserve our flow and enjoy the ride with the FOX Transfer Performance Series with Collar Routing. Featuring a black anodized upper post and hydraulic internals, this dropper sits stealthily under your saddle to manage transitions from stomach-dropping descents to rip-roaring singletrack with a quick flick of the handlebar remote (sold separately). This collar-routed option is ideal for bikes that lack internal routing for dropper posts, or for those of us that want a simpler installation.

Trash

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I got this seatpost with my Yeti SB130 Lunch Ride - wasn't my first choice but not much was available at the time. I had maybe 1 ride in before it started to work substantially worse and started to fail (no movement at all after) 15 or so rides. It never worked quite as good as my reverb droppers. I brought this to a fox dealer (and yeti) dealer in town and they sent it off to fox - not sure what was said but I ended up having to pay 100 bucks out of pocket for the rebuild. I've replaced it with a nice reverb dropper since and have been much happier.

Rubbish

Familiarity:

Stopped modulating around full height after 4 months, stopped returning to full height after 6 months. After 6 months now I have to pull this post up with my hand whilst operating the lever to top-out. Constantly lubing helps, but overall another sad effort of a dropper post.

Worked nice for awhile....

Worked great for 9 months then started to get stuck... when releasing it would go up part way but not to the top, would have to go down then try again for it to fully extend. Will have to send it back for warranty or refund.

Gahbage

Familiarity:

Worked fine for a couple of months then it seized up and would not work, regardless of seatpost clamp torque or slathering of teflon grease. I have to pull it up with my hand now.
