    Transfer Factory Series Dropper Seatpost

In an ideal world, we wouldn't have to think about our seatpost height, and it would automatically adjust based on upcoming terrain. While we're still looking for that trail predicting technology to hit the market, you can keep your trail flow rolling with the FOX Racing Shox Transfer Factory Series Dropper Seatpost - Internal Routing. A smooth, eye-catching Kashima coated upper post and cable-actuated hydraulic internals pair for friction-free modulation with and an easy to engage action that deftly manges transitions across all manner of trail conditions.

The Transfer's internal cable routing keeps everything tucked neatly away in the frame for clean aesthetics, while a Spool Valve design utilizes beefy hydraulics for easy modulation so the post always ends up exactly where you need it. As an added bonus, a tool-free cable disconnect feature makes for easy installation and maintenance.

FOX Racing Shox offers two separately sold lever options for its Transfer dropper posts. The left side below bar mount sits similarly to a standard shift lever, adding clean symmetry to one-by systems. The left/right on bar mount sits how we most commonly think of dropper post levers, and provides clean integration with any shift system.

    • Transition seamlessly across varied terrain
    • Hydraulic internals for smooth, light actuation
    • Kashima coated upper post reduces friction
    • Internal routing for clean, cable-free frame lines

    Gets the job done

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
    Fit:
    True to size

I had a LEV that was giving me trouble so I got this with the bling coating and it is WAY better of a dropper. No play in the movement, just reliable and looks good!

    Great dropper

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

Smooth action, drops easily to any position and returns quickly to full height. It does NOT come with a lever or cable, so make sure you order one separately if you don’t already have one.

    Kashima Coat Flaking Off

Great dropper post all around but the lever is flimsy and will brake easily. Replaced it with a WolfTooth and it works great. However the Kashima Coating which is the cherry on top starting flaking off within 6 months of use and it is now all over the post. Not sure how Fox handles situations like these. Not sure I would buy it again because of the flake off.

    smooth as butter

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'm a tall rider on a cross country bike. when I'm in technical sections I need the dropper to get me down out of the aggressive position. This thing works smooth as butter and has a very fast return. Can't go wrong with this dropper.

    Another bike, another fox transfer

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

We ask a bunch from a dropper post and the early models struggled to deliver reliably over time. Too early to give a long-term verdict but I've got a month of abuse on my first transfer (it replaced a rockshox) and just got a 2nd for my other mountain bike that has a failed turbine. Setup is pretty straightforward for a DIYer (mechanical lever/actuation). Appreciate the options in buying your lever of choice but the all-in cost climbs when you buy the lever (I paired with wolf tooth--combo works well and love the ergonomics) and then don't forget the housing, cable, caps etc.

Don’t cheat yourself, buy this dropper

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I’ve used race face, rockshox, and now fox transfer droppers.... this one is worth the money. You won’t regret. With the seasonal 20% off coupons, totally worth the price of admission. Best upgrade to a bike available, outside of tubeless tires.

    Awesome, very reliable

It's efficient, reliable and great looking all in a not so heavy package

    It's GOLD!

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

If you want the most reliable and highest performing dropper on the market then look no further. No ones likes a sticky dropper and this thing simply works drop after drop. You know how well it works by how little you have to think about it. Stop worrying about broken droppers and focus on the trail ahead.

    Matchy Matchy

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'll be blunt, I have not historically been a big Fox fan, but the Transfer post, with its reliability and excellent functionality in all temperatures, has won my heart. it just works and works and works. Get the Kashima version if your bike has a Kashima fork and shock because you are worth it.

    UPGRADE

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this dropper post because Kashima coating just looks soo dang good . All I can say is I now ride around giggling to myself because of how awesome this dropper is and how great it looks. I would argue that it is the best dropper out there.

    Dropper or Regular

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

I've tied to convince my friends that a regular seat post is way quicker than a dropper post. First you stop, then you get off your bike, undo the seat post latch, finagle the post down or up, reattach the latch, get back on the bike and pedal really hard to get your speed back up. In comparison they said that a small button on my handlebar would be easier...well after carful examination of the pros and cons I can confidently say that it is better, BUT NOT BY MUCH (Actually by like a lot, it's way better). Every MTN Bike should have a dropper and this one looks classy in the gold and works really well. You can adjust the speed it accents and depends as well.

    Durable, quick, easy, and clean

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is a dropper simply wants to cooperate. Easy installation, clean look, always works great, and strong but light. Only downside is the remote sold separately. Still easy installation, but I do not find the small paddle confidently inspiring when you are dropping into a steep after charging a long straight section

    Works Perfectly, Great Company

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought a Transfer Factory post to replace my defective Easton / RaceFace Turbine post that I was unable to receive customer support for. Finally I have a seat-post that works and its wonderful! When purchasing a product I am looking for an experience including both product quality and customer support . Fox = 5-star for both categories RaceFace = FAIL on both categories

    Better than my previous post.

Very smooth actuation, seems sturdy, looks good. No worries that this post does not include a remote. [Or, a cable.] Get the Wolf Tooth remote and an inner/outer shift cable to complete the installation.

Slide on over to the Golden side!

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

I've used a few different droppers over the years and this Golden tube is by far the smoothest action of them all. The Kashima coating is a little soft so be careful when installing that seat with a ratchet wrench or using the torque wrench to suck it down. A quick tip if you are looking to pic up this dropper is that it does NOT come with a remote and you will need to purchase that separately. My only gripe is that I can't get this in a 175mm. :(

    Perfect dropper but...

I've had this dropper for a few weeks and love it so far. I've been on Rock Shox Reverb posts for a few years and just got tired of them failing or having to be bled to work. So I finally jumped ship and got on a fox because it matched the rest of my fox'd out whip. First, if you're in a money pinch, skip the Kashima coating and save some cash by going with the all black (cheaper) transfer instead. Second, and the only reason I gave this 4 not 5 stars is because FOX did not include a dropper lever. I think the price is a little misleading when ALL other major droppers on the market include a lever with their product.

    Smooth

I've tried a few different droppers, and so far I like this one paired with a 1x wolftooth remote the best. These post is extremely smooth up and down and the Kashima (while unnecessary) adds some nice bling. Remotes are sold separately, I never tried the fox version but have really liked the wolftooth option.

    Awesome Dropper Seat Post

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

I'm new to mountain biking and was told I must get a dropper for my bike. It was a great decision. The seat stays put and easily moves up and down when adjusted. Great buy.

    Top Notch Dropper

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Love the post but not sure Kashima is worth the extra cash unless you care that it might match your fork/shock.

This is the only dropper post on your website w/ no weight listed, can you help a brother out and find a claimed weight or toss one on a scale?
