    Ideal trail conditions.

In an ideal world, we wouldn't have to think about our seatpost height, and it would automatically adjust based on upcoming terrain. While we're still looking for that trail predicting technology to hit the market, you can keep your trail flow rolling with the FOX Racing Shox Transfer Factory Series Dropper Seatpost - Internal Routing. A smooth, eye-catching Kashima coated upper post and cable-actuated hydraulic internals pair for friction-free modulation with and an easy to engage action that deftly manges transitions across all manner of trail conditions.

The Transfer's internal cable routing keeps everything tucked neatly away in the frame for clean aesthetics, while a Spool Valve design utilizes beefy hydraulics for easy modulation so the post always ends up exactly where you need it. As an added bonus, a tool-free cable disconnect feature makes for easy installation and maintenance.

FOX Racing Shox offers two separately sold lever options for its Transfer dropper posts. The left side below bar mount sits similarly to a standard shift lever, adding clean symmetry to one-by systems. The left/right on bar mount sits how we most commonly think of dropper post levers, and provides clean integration with any shift system.

    • Transition seamlessly across varied terrain
    • Hydraulic internals for smooth, light actuation
    • Kashima coated upper post reduces friction
    • Internal routing for clean, cable-free frame lines

    Works Perfectly, Great Company

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought a Transfer Factory post to replace my defective Easton / RaceFace Turbine post that I was unable to receive customer support for. Finally I have a seat-post that works and its wonderful! When purchasing a product I am looking for an experience including both product quality and customer support .
Fox = 5-star for both categories
RaceFace = FAIL on both categories

    Better than my previous post.

Very smooth actuation, seems sturdy, looks good. No worries that this post does not include a remote. [Or, a cable.] Get the Wolf Tooth remote and an inner/outer shift cable to complete the installation.

Slide on over to the Golden side!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used a few different droppers over the years and this Golden tube is by far the smoothest action of them all. The Kashima coating is a little soft so be careful when installing that seat with a ratchet wrench or using the torque wrench to suck it down. A quick tip if you are looking to pic up this dropper is that it does NOT come with a remote and you will need to purchase that separately. My only gripe is that I can't get this in a 175mm. :(

      Perfect dropper but...

I've had this dropper for a few weeks and love it so far. I've been on Rock Shox Reverb posts for a few years and just got tired of them failing or having to be bled to work. So I finally jumped ship and got on a fox because it matched the rest of my fox'd out whip. First, if you're in a money pinch, skip the Kashima coating and save some cash by going with the all black (cheaper) transfer instead. Second, and the only reason I gave this 4 not 5 stars is because FOX did not include a dropper lever. I think the price is a little misleading when ALL other major droppers on the market include a lever with their product.

I've tried a few different droppers, and so far I like this one paired with a 1x wolftooth remote the best. These post is extremely smooth up and down and the Kashima (while unnecessary) adds some nice bling. Remotes are sold separately, I never tried the fox version but have really liked the wolftooth option.

          Awesome Dropper Seat Post

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm new to mountain biking and was told I must get a dropper for my bike. It was a great decision. The seat stays put and easily moves up and down when adjusted. Great buy.

          Best dropper so far

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used Thomson (really like it), Rock Shox (hate it), and Fox, and the Fox is hands down the best. You won't be disappointed!

          Matchy Matchy

          • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Looks great if you are wanting to bling out your rig to your fork. Post works well and has a nice audible thunk when reaching max extension and compression.

          Drop it like it's hot.

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Looks great, not sure the coating adds any performance over the cheaper one. Has a bit of side to side rotation which seems to be common on most dropper post. I have never noticed the movement while riding. Has worked flawlessly ever time the lever has been pushed. The lever seems to be good quality as Well.

Good post for the most part

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this as an upgrade from my Lev integra 125mm, but after getting saddle mounted to this post the dropper shaft rotated side to side slightly. Not a big deal, you barely notice it while riding, but my integra had no play to it at all. Solid post other than that.

          Up/down post

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Transfer post does it's job. Smooth operation. Easy install and set up. It goes up, it goes down and makes riding in varied terrain a breeze.

I bout this fox Seat dropper for my giant and it has made my riding experience 100 times more efficient and my rides are more enjoyable. no I can stay with my friends and never have to fiddle with the seat no matter what kind if riding I do!!

            Flawless season 1

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have always loved using a dropper, but had experienced various issues with them on long and short rides that left me wanting to the point where I stopped using them. This one has been great, no issues thus far. Going into season 2. Looks very cool on the bike with the matching Kashima coated fork.

            Almost perfect

I could not be happier with my choice to purchase the Fox Transfer internal routed 150mm drop post. It works perfectly.

However after a handlebar to tree strike and subsequent fall I noticed that the clamp which holds the lever to the handlebar had broken. Once I saw that it had broken I noticed that the clamp seems to be very 'lightly' built. I know it probably saves a couple of grams but make it able to resist at least a few strikes. i've had the post for about two months and now I will have to buy a new lever as 'warranty will not cover impact or over torque'.

Very happy with the post itself. Might look at another brand when buying the new lever.

              Almost perfect

              Buttery Smooth

              • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Drop it like its hot. Fox has really done it this time. Very smooth action, slick styling, and super easy to install. Drops smoothly and effortlessly and returns quick. There is a little side to side play but this is common with all dropper post

This is the only dropper post on your website w/ no weight listed, can you help a brother out and find a claimed weight or toss one on a scale?
