    Droppers all around.

Say goodbye to the ride-stopping, rigid seat adjusting blues and stay focused on the flow with a FOX Racing Shox Transfer Factory Series Dropper Seatpost - Collar Routing. Featuring a smooth, eye-catching Kashima coated upper post and cable-actuated hydraulic internals, this dropper utilizes an easy to engage action to deftly manage transitions from grinding climbs and buttery smooth singletrack to heart-dropping descents and berms.

Like any good dropper, the Transfer prides itself on adjustability, but it doesn't just stop with height. The cable junction pivots to sit at angles ranging from 60-degrees rearward to 60-degrees forward of the in-line position, which means it'll work smoothly with any cable-routing setup, eliminating twisting, bunching, and general messiness. It also connects on the lower, stationary half of the post, so you can cut the cable to precisely the right length instead of having to leave extra to accommodate the movement of the post. As an added bonus, a tool-free cable disconnect feature makes for easy installation and maintenance.

FOX Racing Shox offers two separately sold lever options for its Transfer dropper posts. The left side below bar mount sits similarly to a standard shift lever, adding clean symmetry to one-by systems. The left/right on bar mount sits how we most commonly think of dropper post levers, and provides clean integration with any shift system.

    • Transition seamlessly across varied terrain
    • Hydraulic internals for smooth, light actuation
    • Kashima coated upper post reduces friction
    • Lower post-mounted cable junction for clean lines

    Okay

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

When it works, it's great but the slightest amount of dust can make the valve stick and remain open which makes it useless and even hazardous because with the valve open it won't stay up OR down. It just freely toggles.

    Smooth action

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Nice that the cable attaches at the bottom of the post so it doesn't make a big loop when you drop the post. Looks great if you are wanting to bling out your rig to your fork. Post works well and has a nice audible thunk when reaching max extension and compression.

    Above and Beyond...

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I only have a half a dozen rides or so on the post but it has performed flawlessly every single time, and at 260 lbs I put every piece of equipment through the ringer :) Everyone at competitive cyclist has been extremely helpful, I had an exchange as well and it was handled extremely responsively. I could not be more pleased. They were the lowest price in addition to everything above.

Where can I purchase a replacement bolt / retaining nut for this item? I managed to have a bolt back out and I lost both on the trail.
