The 32 Float SC 29 100 3Pos-Adj FIT4 Fork is the lightest fork ever produced by FOX, placing you atop the podium with its feathery efficiency and supple support across cross-country courses and smooth-buffed singletrack. FOX's innovative Step Cast (SC) chassis shaves weight with stepped lower legs that are 10 millimeters narrower than standard Float 32 Forks. The 32 Float SC's smooth, sensitive feel remains unchanged from standard Float 32 Forks, meaning you'll reap the benefits of tunable support with its Float air spring and stable tracking of 32-millimeter stanchions. The 32 Float Step Cast gets the EVOL (extra volume negative air spring) for heightened small-bump sensitivity and better traction on rocky climbs.

Since it's 10 millimeters narrower to shave weight, FOX engineers had to employ a stepped lower design to accommodate disc brakes, wheel spokes, and 2.3-inch tires without clearance issues. Not only do these stepped lowers provide ample clearance for disc brakes, wheels, and tires, but they significantly reduce weight with hollow lowers resultant of shortening the upper tubes and raising the magnesium lowers. This maximizes efficiency in cross-country and marathon racing when saving every gram is crucial to success.

The 32 Float Step Cast sports a lightweight version of the Fit4 damper with 3-position adjust for switching between Open, Medium, and Firm modes on-the-fly. Open mode provides 22 clicks of low-speed compression for fine-tuning its feel to your riding preferences and the race course at hand. Medium firms it up without being a full-on lockout, giving you greater efficiency for smooth courses and long climbs. Firm acts as a practical lock-out that's best for fire roads and asphalt approaches to the trail, complete with a blow-off that mitigates damage in case you forget to unlock it.

Please note, each 32 Float Step Cast comes with a Kabolt 15 x 100-millimeter thru-axle (bolt-on) that shaves weight while maintaining wheel stiffness for precise tracking. This particular fork comes in 44 and 51-millimeter offset options, so you can fine-tune it to your 29er's particular geometry, thereby offering the handling characteristics you're seeking for XC racing and riding pursuits.
