    Boosted Stiffness and snappy handling for 29ers.

    Providing the increased stiffness of a BOOST thru-axle and agile handling of a 51mm offset, the 2017 FOX Racing Shox 32 Float 29 3Pos-Adj FIT 4 Boost Fork (51mm Rake) remedies the excess wheel flex and sloppy handling sometimes associated with 29er wagon wheels. The most impressive tweak for 2017 is the addition of a quick-release BOOST thru-axle, which radically improves the stiffness of larger 29-inch wheels. In fact, SRAM claims that upgrading your 29ers' front thru-axle to Boost standards increases its stiffness to a comparable 26 inch bike. Ultimately, this means ultra-precise tracking and unflappable poise when you're dropping into rowdy, rock-strewn terrain.

    Its 51mm offset gives your 29er the snappy handling usually reserved for smaller bikes. This is achieved by adding a bit of rake (around 5mm over traditional 46mm forks), which decreases the bike's trail and results in less "dead" space between the steering axis and hub. Like the addition of Boost, the 51mm offset alleviates common complaints of 29ers (especially those with relatively slack head angles), namely sloppy low-speed handling. Suddenly, you're big-wheeled brute is supremely agile at cleaning switchbacks and negotiating around trail obstacles.

    The 32 Float strikes a sweet spot between cross-country efficiency and trail-taming confidence with 120mm of travel. The lightweight Float spring provides excellent small-bump compliance. It can be modified with additional air volume spacers (sold separately), giving riders the ability to customize its progressiveness. Furthermore, the Fit4 damper gives riders the ability to switch between Open, Medium, and Firm settings on-the-fly. When it's fully open, the Fit4 damper gives riders 22 clicks of low-speed compression adjustment for fine-tuning its feel to the terrain at hand.
