When the weather gets cold the trails get empty, so it's prime time to pull on the Fox Racing Forge CW Gloves and get after it. Fox hooks the Forge up with a 10K waterproof and breathable membrane to keep the weather's worst at bay, and lined it with soft and warm brushed tricot to retain enough heat to keep your hands toasty on chilly rides. Lightweight padding at the fingers, knuckles, and back hand let you bash your way through branches, and the simple pull-on design keeps weight down without letting water in.
- Extend your riding season with these cold weather MTB gloves
- Waterproof membrane keeps your hands dry and comfortable
- Membrane remains breathable to prevent clamminess
- Polyfill insulation with brushed tricot lining for warmth
- Silicone on the fingers enhances grip on the brake levers
- Hook-and-loop closure helps seal out the elements

Fox Forge Glove Review
Its very rare that a size Large Glove doesn't fit my hand. These Gloves fit too tight for a proper large size. When you bend fingers like you would be griping a Handlebar or Ski Pole, the material forms numerous baggy creases. This throws off your feel when griping anything. I'm going to return them

Agreed... I bought the extra large and they are way too small. Gripping the handlebars is not comfortable at all and really leaves my hands fatigued after the first couple miles. This XL is more like a medium.

Get very saturated
Yes these are warm and there is a secondary “waterproof” liner which may or may not keep your hands dry. The outer material on the gloves gets saturated to the point that you won’t be able to tell if your hands are dry or not and you will have to wring the gloves out. There is also a significant amount of movement when riding, between the material in contact with the handlebar and the interior liner. In dry cold weather these would cut it, probably to 40 +\- degrees Fahrenheit, but would not rely on them to keep your hands dry.

The glove for fall rides
This glove does a great job for fall riding here in the Salt Lake area. The temps have dropped and now we are into my favorite time of year to get out and enjoy the backcountry. Being able to enjoy the ride through the leaves and admire the changes of color, I am no longer thinking about cold fingers! These gloves are just thick enough to add the warmth I was looking for, and still give me enough tactile feel to operate the brakes and shifting as I would with my normal summer gloves. The liner inside can sometimes feel out of place when initially pulling them on, but a little wiggling gets them in place. If you have questions about these Fox gloves, Fox product or other gear, please reach out to me and I am happy to field your questions.
