    Tenacious.

    Don't back down from technical trails where falling simply isn't an option, at least not when you're wearing the Fox Racing Men's Attack Short without Liner. Just as its name implies, the Attack Short is Fox's premiere all-mountain short, designed for scintillating descents and bigger lines where flexibility is of the utmost importance. As such, it's made of TruMotion 4-way stretch fabric for uncompromising flexibility when you're pummeling over rock outcroppings and getting aggressive over the rear on the descent.

    Tiny laser-cut perforations along the inner-legs provide exceptional ventilation on the warmest rides of the year and the adjustable waistband buckle ratchets securely in place to avoid any slippage while pedaling swiftly. It's rounded out with secure-zip hand pockets for storage functionality on the trail, plus a soft y-fold elastic waistband for hours on continuous riding comfort. And in case you're wondering, this particular version doesn't include a padded liner short, so you can pair it with your favorites at home to gain a customized level of support.

    • Fox's premiere short for aggressive all-mountain rides
    • TruMotion 4-way stretch keeps you moving freely on your bike
    • Laser-cut perforations provide cooling airflow on warmer days
    • Soft y-fold elastic waistband won't pinch or cause irritation
    • Adjustable ratchet closure at waistband for a secure fit
    • Zippered hand pockets provide functional trail storage

    Great, Lightweight Short

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 165lbs

    The four-way stretch allows ease of movement and the laser cut holes mean excellent breathability on long uphill grinds. The pockets could be a bit deeper but fit your phone perfectly, and the zippers ensure it won't go anywhere. The quick-dry material means they won't soak up sweat on hot days and dry quickly when it gets a bit wet out there. The ratchet closure is a bit unnecessary, but I dig it no less. And the elastic waistband means no bunching and discomfort. Long and short...it's a great short.

    Light, Stretchy, Durable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

    Fox nailed it with these shorts. The fit is perfect, not too baggy and landing just above the kneecap. They work well with or without knee guards and they feature 4-way stretch throughout. I prefer to wear bibs under my MTB shorts, so I was happy to see Fox offering these shorts without a liner included.

    Unanswered Question

    I've got a size 32 waist and I'm 6' tall, 174lbs. By the Fox size chart I'm a little confused: https://www.foxracing.com/mtb-size-chart.html
    5'8"-5'10" 34" waist -> size 32
    5'10" - 6' 36" waist -> size 34
    I normally order size large in road bike shorts. What size do you recommend?
