Urban sensibility with a backcountry soul.

Used to be if you were looking for skate-inspired style and trail-ready performance in one package, you'd have to surgically create your own frankenshoes. Not any more—the good dudes at Forsake have done the dirty work for you with the Hiker Boot, a shoe that's equally at home hangin' at in town, cruising slushy city streets, or stomping through full-on outdoor missions.

The Hiker sports a full-grain leather, suede, and ballistic upper with tons of detail stitching and subtle touches, and it's outfitted with a waterproof and breathable membrane to keep your dogs dry in all sorts of conditions. A dual-density EVA midsole and composite shank work hard to keep your feet feeling as good as they look, and a gusseted tongue keeps snow out when you're trudging through freshies.

Versatile.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 9.5
  • Height: 5'10"
  • Weight: 170lbs

These things are awesome! They're as comfortable as your favorite sneaks, but are tough, warm and waterproof. I even pressure washed the exterior (while wearing them) after they got caked in mud one day. Feet stayed bone dry.. They don't look like some clunky hiking boots either. You could go from the trail to downtown and these wouldn't feel out of place in either setting. I'll definitely be wearing these in all 4 seasons for everything except deep snow and extended periods of time in sub zero temps.

Sizing is pretty accurate. I usually range from 9-10 and the 9.5 fits perfectly. Enough room for a thicker pair of socks, but they tighten up really well, so my feet don't move around at all when I'm wearing normal socks.

Forsake Hiker

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

this is the second pair in this boot that i bought for my fiance. He actually wears these everyday for work. Hes on his feet all day and these definitely have the right amount of comfort for that. his last pair lasted him almost 3 years! Takes a couple times to break them in how he sees fit - but im sure in a couple more years ill be buying him another pair!

Performance Casual Shoe!

I just got these for my brother and he wears them as a casual/ performance combo! He loves having the support and comfort of a hiking boot when worn casually, but they are still stylish when you wear them hiking! A win win

    Very Sharp In Black

Big Forsake fan here. I bought these as lifestyle boots although they're clearly intended for more burly use. I could do with a couple extra holes instead of the hooks (they take longer to tie) and a bit less ankle support but these are risks I knowingly took buying hiking boots with a lesser purpose in mind. They're comfortable and fit great. I bought mine in black, which is a very sharp look.
