    Go steeper and deeper.

The FlyLow Men's Magnum Pro Pant seals out the nastiest winter conditions while breathing exceptionally well during demanding tours and out-of-bounds bootpacks. Loaded with an Intuitive 3-layer membrane and fully taped seams, the Magnum Pro delivers high levels of waterproofing (20k) and breathability (20k) for the most demanding skiers and backcountry enthusiasts. Further contributing to its tour and hike-friendly persona, inner and outer thigh vents quickly cool your legs during warmer spring conditions and sweaty uphill tours.

New for this year, FlyLow outfitted the Magnum Pro with a 4-way stretch face to reduce the bulk and annoying rustling associated with hardshell snow pants, especially when you're hiking. This fabric was borrowed from high-end hunting apparel, proving to be extraordinarily tough without sacrificing comfort. Five total pockets, including a thigh cargo pocket, grace the pant for versatile storage on the slopes. Furthermore, you'll appreciate the articulated knees for freedom of motion.

    Perfect Pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small

I'm 5'8, 215lbs. Stocky build. I have tried on the Chemical pants, and own IQ pants. Both of those pants I wear a size Large. But for some reason, with the Magnum Pro pants, I had to go with an XL to fit me in the waste. Everything else feels the same in the legs and butt as the Large, but the waste is just too small for me. For reference, I wear jeans that are 36", but can fit into 34's if that helps to choose which size to go with.

    Perfect Pants

    Pants Party

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Yes I do mean there's a party in these pants. Super comfy, just the right amount of soft shell stretch but firm and durable enough to take a beating and keep me dry. Had a few pairs now... I'm short and I walk on my cuffs a lot, and sometimes I run into trees and whatnot... but they're worth it!

    Softshell benefits without looking like

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my go-to pant for almost any day I click-in. Great for days on the hill and colder days touring the backcountry. The softshell fabric is stretchy and super comfortable with a microfleece lining to keep you warm and help with wicking moisture to the exterior. Big vents inside and outside of the legs helps regulate temperature when I start heating up. Comfy, breathable, waterproof, venting, and durable. What more do you need? If you're looking for 1 pant to do it all...look no further!

    Solid Pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 170lbs

I have had a pair of the Flylow chemical pants for the past few seasons. They fit great, and are tougher than hell, but the waterproofing was lacking. Even just a little snow and I'd be getting soaked. Picked up the Magnum pants, and happy to see the fit and finish is just as good, but the waterproofing has been vastly improved. Skied in the rain one day and was nice and dry. A little heavy for touring, but I have a lighter pair of pants for that.

    last pant ill ever own

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: large
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 160lbs

i am very hard on my gear and these have passed all the tests so far. the legs vents are fantastic and let me keep the perfect temp while touring or traversing. and the reinforcements around the knees/ ankles have withstood many tree branches and rocks. if these wear out i will be replacing them with the exact same pair.

    Flylow gear is awesome

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I bought these as a replacement for a pair purchased two seasons ago. I love the fit/form/function of these ski pants. I'm an area skier only with over 50 days a year at Snowbird and these pants have been awesome.

After two seasons of heavy use, the waterproofing has diminished and the bottom inch of the zipper track on the right leg is damaged (I think it got caught on something and tore a bit). I've been very happy with how these pants have performed and neither of these issues is a deal breaker for me.

The zipper and waterproofing issues are being handled by Flylow. Their customer service, in form of communication and resolution, has been awesome!

    I highly recommend this product.

    Flylow gear is awesome

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 195lbs

First off. Bought these pants when I was 230-240 lbs so I went with XL - They are fairly large on me now as I am 195 so I would go for the L. I use these ski touring, resort skiing, snowshoeing and just general winter activities. I overheat easy so the full side zips come in handy ALL the time. The reinforced knee area and the ankle area has proven to keep these things in great shape. Flylow crushed it with these pants!

    Flylow Rocks as Usual

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 190lbs

I recently purchased these pants for the start of my ski season. They have only been used once so far in Steamboat, but performed fantastic. The side zips provide great access. I have old man knees and wear knee braces while skiing and these side zips allow east access to adjust as required. The pockets are great and these pants look stylish too! I purchased the large and they fit quite nice on my 5'11" 190lb frame.

    Cross Flow!!

    • Size Bought: Large

Use these pants for touring. Super durable. The inner thigh vent combined with the outer vent let you dump heat better than any pant I have ever had. Just the right amount of pockets.

    Unanswered Question

Are these Flylow pants mesh lined? The product is the FlyLow Gear Magnum Pro Pant - Men's. Would like to know if the pant has an interior mesh liner, or if the thigh and inseam vents have mesh backing to prevent snow from entering the pants when open. thank you
