From the lift to the backcountry.

The FlyLow Gear Women's Sarah Insulated Jacket is ready to face the elements head-on without sacrificing your comfort. A modern two-layer construction made from Intuitive stretch offers waterproof protection, especially with the reinforcement of the fully taped seams. When surprise snowstorms hit, the helmet-compatible hood stays put while the YetiLoft insulation offers lightweight warmth. And since it has a cozy, breathable fit, it gives you room to layer underneath while offering temperature regulation with the underarm vents and powder skirt.

    Way too long

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: XS

I'm not sure who this jacket is supposed to fit. I ordered the XS and the coat fit great except its so long! The front part was about 6" from my knees with the back coming way past my but. It looked ridiculous, especially considering it's supposed to be a hip length jacket. It's a shame too because I really wanted to like it. It seemed perfect in every other way- the sleeves fit, it wasn't too wide/ bulky and I loved the colors.

    Great jacket

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I'm 6'1" with broad shoulders. Loved this jacket – great quality, cut long, sleeves were long enough. I had to return it though because it was a bit too tight through the shoulders.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium

I cant wait to wear this jacket skiing. Its a great fit but had to return the first one I received since the large was extremely big on me. Go with your t-shirt size and you'll still have enough room for layering under the jacket.

    Excellent ski jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I just bought this coat for my girlfriend as a gift, and she has absolutely loved it so far. Wore it on a moderately cold day where it was nuking snow, and she stayed warm and dry all day. She's very sensitive to the cold, so the fact that she didn't have any cold spots on her upper body for the entire day is really a testament to the warmth this jacket offers.

Finish quality appears to be outstanding, and the pit zips, pockets, powder skirt, and fit are all very functional for long days on the hill.

    Awesome Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small

This jacket was my go-to jacket this past winter. I love the style/cut of the jacket- it's slightly longer and slimmer so it's really flattering. The jacket is insulated but I wouldn't describe the insulation as making it bulky or an overall super warm jacket like Flylow's Jody Down Jacket. I could still layer under this jacket, but I wouldn't attempt to put a heavy puffy underneath, generally when it was really cold I'd layer a light puff vest and that worked great.
The level of waterproofness is really high for being a stylie jacket at this price point - I'd wear this jacket in all conditions minus really wet conditions (in that case I'd switch to Flylow's Billie Coat). The durability of this jacket is great, I could easily get more than one season out of it.
The color ways in this jacket are awesome! I really liked wearing the plum jacket with the canary yellow pants. To note, I think the jacket is a tad brighter than the photo uses.
I recommend this jacket with Flylow's Daisy insulated pant- they're slim fitting and complement the Sarah jacket perfectly.
I'm a size small in this jacket, which I believe fits true to size (I'm 5'5", 125 lbs and wear a size 2/4 in regular clothes) as a medium fits too big as it becomes too long and wide in this jacket. However, for further explanation I wear a medium in Flylow's Billie Coat and that fits perfectly.
