Who are you to turn down the bubbly goodness of that jacuzzi you just stumbled upon at the resort just because you don't have swim trunks on? The FlyLow Gear Men's Hot Tub Hybrid Walk Shorts are made from a stretchy nylon blend that's coated with a DWR finish to give them their amphibious nature for impromptu dips. They also have a sun protection rating of UPF 50+ for days at the beach when the sun refuses to quit.

    Great shorts

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Great shorts, even better price! Super soft hybrid material and the cut is pretty cool too. This is this first time buying this brand but I'll be keeping an eye out if their other stuff is anything like these shorts.

    Extreme Comfort

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 34

These things are so soft and comfy! Great for lounging around when it's hot, but also proper enough to wear out of the house no problem. I got them for an all around summer short and have been quite pleased. Personally I still switch to actual board shorts for swimming, but the light material these are made of are still very beneficial in warm weather if you don't use them for swimming.

Only minor gripe is that they definitely fit big and stretch out a little after the first use, so I would say order a size smaller and if they feel a little tight at first just tough it out, you'll end up with a perfect fit. I am ALWAYS a 34, but pretty sure a 32 would work for me on these. I've already worn the 34s a bunch though so I just use a belt rather than returning and I'm still happy.

    Bike, Beers, Hot Tub Short

I've been wearing the Flylow Hot Tub for a few weeks now and really like them - truth be told, I've probably worn them at some point during 5 of 7 days this week, and am still psyched. The combination of a technical, light, soft and stretchy fabric with a casual/chino short look makes for a super versatile short. They can be worn over chamois for mountain biking, to the bar for beers and, as expected, to the hot tub (or any other water for that matter). The material dries quickly and the mesh pocket bags let the water drain quickly. I am a 34 waist and these may fit slightly large (1" perhaps); however, the difference is negligible for me, so I still wear the Hot Tub in a 34 waist. If you're a 33 waist, I would go with the 32 for sure.

No has to know you're a dirt bag.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are awesome, in every way. They keep my husband looking nice, even though he spends most on his time in the water and dirt.

On the sizing, I would say they run a tad big. My hubby is almost always a 32. The 32 in these slide down about as low as is socially acceptable, in most circles, so he wears a belt with them. If you are on the cusp of a size, I would keep that in mind.

Hot Tub Short does everything for me

In all honesty, I am wearing these shorts right now. I use them as a mountain bike over short, pull the fine italian chammy from underneath and can wear them to dinner or just for life, after I jump in the river of course. The idea behind the shorts is that we just needed a straight forward short with some strech, quick drying fabric and mesh pockets and we could just have one short to do it all in the summer. Here you go. gusseted crotch is nice for climbing. Running works too:)
