great shorts, horrible pockets

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These shorts run slightly large in size compared to dockers, kuhl, and express brand shorts. Overall I love the material and fit, very light and quick drying...I didn't notice the crotch being baggy or the legs super tight and I have fairly big thighs (6'2" 230lbs). My only problem, and its a big problem are the pockets. The 2 main front pockets are extremely small. My phone is large, but averaged sized for new smartphones, and the corner of it sticks out of the pocket at all times. Also when I sit down something always falls out of the pockets (phone, wallet, chapstick, pen, etc). The small change/5th pocket on the front right side looks normal to start but it is unusable. It goes down the full length of the normal pocket which means that any change or other items that you put into the pocket become unreachable without using one hand to push the items up and the other hand to grab them. I can drop a bic pen into the pocket at it will completely disappear with several inches to spare. I love the material and now use the shorts for yard work around the house when I don't need to use the pockets but I can't recommend for use around town.

Flylow quality with cashmere comfort

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 32"
  • Height: 5'9"
  • Weight: 175lbs

If you are looking for a comfortable, everyday short from one of the most reliable names in outdoor clothing, then look no further. These shorts are great. You can dress them up if need be, or wear them as your everyday short. They get softer and softer with each wash. I am 5'9" 175lbs and have a 33" waist. I wear the size 32" and they sag a bit, but just enough for comfort and they don't look too big. I have big thighs and the legs are NOT tight on my thighs. I highly recommend!

Baggy Waist, Tight Legs

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Size Bought: 34
  • Height: 5'10"
  • Weight: 190lbs

The waist is true to size, but the crotch area was very baggy. Then the legs were skin tight, like bike-short tight. I have pretty thick legs, so I'm sure this would work fine for someone who is a little more slender, but I definitely would not call the fit regular.

RIP IT UP /// Shorts that KEEP UP

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 34"
  • Height: 6'1"

From pulling some weeds at the house, to shooting hoops and looking good at homies BBQ these shorts are durable and go from sport to sport. Whether Biking, skating, climbing or trying to impress the in laws with casual tones of DOCKERS esk these shorts bridge the gap with function and style. A great pair of shorts for those hot days in the yard playing horseshoes or doin work. 97% cotton blend leaves them soft and supple and the color palate fits with any tang top or T in your arsenal.
