    Super Comfy Insulated Ski Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'4"

I tried on a Daphne jacket when our Flylow rep came to our office and loved it so much I went straight to my desk and bought one. I loved it soon as I saw it, but loved it even more when I tried it on. It feels amazing and is definitely one of my favorite ski jackets I've ever owned. It is sooooo soft on the outside and when you slip it over your arms you get the silky softness of the wrist gaiters.

I get pretty hot, so I only wore it on days 30 or below, but when layering appropriately, I was able to take it to 10 degrees. It is plenty waterproof and breathable with nice pit vents, but the first thing that comes to mind when I wear this jacket is how comfortable it is. Being a Gearhead, you can probably imagine that I have a lot of ski jackets, but of all, this one is easily the most comfortable that I've got.

As far as sizing goes, I'm normally in between a medium and a large, I got the medium and it is a nice fitted look, I could have gone large for more layering room, but the medium worked. If you are in between sizes I recommend sizing down, if you are almost always a particular size, go with that size and you'll have room to layer and move around without restrictions.

    Great Jacket! (color off)

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 145lbs

The stock photos are different than the actual color. I bought Neptune color (actual color is a very nice dark teal/blue color) backcountry photo and other websites make it look navy.
Great quality - not the stiff loud shell material typically found in riding jackets, but softer and flexible, yet waterproof. Very lightweight considering it is insulated.

    Fantastic Insulated Jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 140lbs

The Daphne is an impressively warm and well styled jacket option from Flylow.
It fits in more of a freeride style--a bit longer through the torso and looser--than the Puma Jacket, though fits shorter than the Sarah Jacket (which was way too long for my liking).
It's plenty warm, with only a base layer, down to 20* or so, haven't had the chance to try it below that temperature yet. I'm 5'6", 145#, 34D, and the medium fits with room to layer beneath (could *maybe* have run the small for a closer fit, but I like the looser fit, especially over bibs).

The pockets deserve a major shout-out: side ones to slip your hands in when it gets chilly, pass pocket on the forearm, two lower pockets, great for keys, snacks, etc, inner pocket for your phone with a headphone port, and inner one literally large enough for a calzone, if that's part of your lifestyle (live. your. truth!)

The sleeves fit well, with the super gaiter with thumb hole. I like that I can either have my gloves (with their longer gaunlet) over or under the sleeve.
The hood and neck are also superb: the neck zipper has a comfortable inner fabric, for those times you are without a Buff or neck gaiter. The hood is *almost* helmet compatible with my Smith--I think with a lower profile helmet it would fit better.

If you have Flylow pants or the Foxy Bibs, as I do, the snow skirt snaps right in, which is pretty slick if you ask me.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a super warm and comfortable ski jacket. It is on the heavier side, so I would look for a shell option for backcountry or the like.

    Great jacket

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 130lbs

I decided to go with the Flylow Vixen shell, which I can layer underneath, rather than keep the Daphne. I loved the fit of this jacket though. If I had a dedicated jacket for riding lifts, this would be it. It's got just the right amount of insulation, so you can keep cozy of the ride up, but not overheat on the ski down.

    Not for curvy ladies

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: xl
    • Height: 5'8"

I so wanted to love this jacket. However if you are a larger busted lady like myself this coat, and other in the XL size will not fit you. It fit everywhere else but I could not comfortable zip it.

    Warmth and Comfort

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I love this coat! It is warm without being bulky and moves great. On really cold days, I put a light vest underneath and there is plenty of room. I have long arms and the sleeves fit me well. The pockets are well placed and I appreciate the arm pocket for my RFID pass. The pit zips are handy when you are working hard. I haven't used it on a warmer day (above 30), but if you run cold and want a coat that keeps you warm and moves with you, this is a great choice.

    Cool Jacket

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 117lbs

I ordered the jacket in plum, size small. I like to buy my jackets a bit large so I have plenty of room underneath for layers and this one fit true to size. It's really lightweight and a great color. The shape was a little too boxy for my liking but would probably look great on a curvier girl.
