    Cooper Jacket

Weather protection doesn't mean much when you have to shed your shell after a couple of minutes of skinning or bootpacking. If you're looking for a breathable shell that you'll wear on your body and not around your waist, snag the Flylow Cooper Jacket and stay comfortable and dry in the backcountry all season long. It's made with stretchy and highly breathable Intuitive Perm fabric that perfectly meets the demands of backcountry ascents. Low-profile underarm vents let you quickly release heat when you really work up a sweat, whether you're pushing uphill to get first tracks or rejoicing in the knee-deep rewards of your hard work. The  hand and chest pockets (one for convenient phone storage) are easy to reach with a backpack on, giving you quick access to necessary gear or food when you're far from the resort. The helmet-compatible hood ensures that you won't have to sacrifice skull protection for weather protection, guaranteeing total waterproofing and comfortable movement for any day in the mountains.

    Great Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Height: 6'4"
    • Weight: 200lbs

Stretchy and breathable. Very nice for a storm day and big enough to layer under. The fact that it looks great is a nice bonus!

    Great Lightweight Shell for Skiing!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Cooper is a great mix of functionality and style, it's breathable, has plenty of pockets, and underarm venting for when you heat up! I use mine mainly inbounds on spring days where a powder skirt isn't needed, as the cooper doesn't have one. Then again, it's not really designed for deep days where you'll need a lot of weather protection. So it does what its designed to very well! It's a great lightweight shell and in the two storms I've used it in, I have yet to get wet. Would recommend!

    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: large
    • Height: 6'0"

This shell looks good and gets the job done. I love the pockets. It runs a little large but I like my ski jackets a little bit bigger to layer underneath on cold days. It is lightweight, stretchy, and breathable, packs down well. Great for touring or the resort.

    Solid shell

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 175lbs

Overall very pleased with this jacket. When I first put it on I thought, this thing is huge. After wearing it on the mountain, I think it's a combination of being a little large as well as having a larger style. If that makes any sense. Typically I'm between a medium and large in jackets and would definitely go with a medium in this one.
I like that it has nice deep pockets, definitely saved me when I left one open like a knucklehead on a pow day.
I don't think it blocks out cold wind as well as other shells but it does pretty well.
No powder skirt which is a plus for me. Get a good pair of bibs and you won't need it.

    Solid shell

    Heck ya!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'4"

A solid jacket. I used it for a cold tour, and it held up well. Shed water, breathed well, and was comfortable all day long.

    Heck ya!

    All good in the hood

    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 175lbs

Everything is spot on with this sweet jacket. The hubby only demoed it a few times, so not sure how it will hold up, and thus the 4 stars.

But, it was golden during the a very wet and miserable storm we endured all day.

The fit is spot on, get your normal size. It is a relaxed fit though, so keep that in mind, if you are searching for a specific look.

    All good in the hood

    Seriously You need this

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 172lbs

Just like everybody else I love having nice gear. I've always scoffed a little bit at the super expensive garments, thinking to myself how much better could they really be.

WOW is all I can say I can't believe how nice this shell is. The pockets, hood, zippers etc everything seems to be in the right place and works flawlessly.

    I can't believe I waited so long

I am 5'9 and have a 41" chest. I am right in between the M and L for most of the boarding I do the Medium will work fine with my normally layering. If I was to go out on the super cold days and wear a bigger under jacket a larger size might be better.

    Seriously You need this
