Flylow Blaster Glove (Wrist Cuff Issue)

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The Flylow Blaster Glove has wrist cuffs. The stitching that attaches the cuffs to gloves is faulty . The purpose of the wrist cuffs is to allow someone to take off their gloves for bare handed tasks without dropping their gloves on the snow or ground. The wrist cuff on one of my gloves became dislodged on the second day of use, now the liner is frayed and looks like it will continue to fray further. Examining the other glove, it appears that wrist cuff is about ready to fail as well. I have a pair of Hestra gloves that also have wrist cuffs. They are several years old with well over 100 days of use and there are no issues.

    First Impression

Just received these gloves and have not really put them through a full test. However they are very well make with great leather. The size of my hand measurements run at the upper limits of their sizing chart. If this is the case for yourself then order the next size up and don’t rely on break in. I would say that the gloves are mid weight and not applicable for those really cold winter days or if your hands run cold like mine otherwise they great gloves for milder days.
