I had to retire the jacket only after about 2 seasons. A piece of fabric got caught on the sleeve while going through some trees and the inner insulation started coming out. I doubt it would've happened to some previous jackets I've had in the past. Will be going back to a tried and tested brand I normally use in a higher quality technical shell without insulation. Jacket worked fine prior to the tear.

Definitely not yellow

I ordered this jacket as a present for my husband, so haven’t used it. Looks to be of high quality, and while insulated, is very light weight. I ordered it thinking that the rye color looked pretty mustardy yellow and it is most definitely a shade of brown. Thought others should know.. haven’t decided yet, but probably will be returned.

Who's Albert? Nice Jacket Tho

Flylow's Albert jacket is their top of line insulated ski/snowboard jacket and it certainly impresses. The color style gives great noticeable colors without overdoing it. The pockets may seem like too many to some but for someone like me who goes into side country it actually makes this piece really versatile with the two front pockets used for skins and the others covering the essentials. The sizing is definitely on the bigger side as I'm usually a large but the medium fits me better except with being slightly tight in the shoulders (more of my shoulders being wide). I haven't truly tested the outer material in a really wet day yet but it has taken some storm days and laughed back at it while the weight of the material is good but sacrifices a bit of durability.

This jacket is one of my favorites. I got it for this winter and I have taken it out several times. It has kept me dry in heavy snow and even in rain. I bought this because I like that fact that it is insulated and you do not have to layer with it as much. Due to that it is a little bit heavier of a coat, but I love it none the less, and it works great for resort skiing. I would highly recommend this coat!

Great Jacket. Gave this to my husband who is 6'2" and 200lbs and the large fits great. The insulation is perfect for cold to moderate days. Pockets are good and everything is well designed. He says, "The best part is you don't look like you wearing the "uniform". It's the best everyday Jacket I own with style and function. Highly recommend."

I have been skiing in this jacket now for 8 days straight and its been plenty warm through snow, wind and a powder day. Like the soft fabric on the inside makes it comfortable even with just a sweatshirt. Its warm but without being too puffy or bulky. The hood is constructed well and fits over my helmet if needed really well. We have had some warmer december days here in CO and the venting system works well and is easy to use. Lots of pockets both inside and outside in the right places and sizes. Running headphones is easy and I stash my phone on the chest pocket. The fit is great and true to size. Powder skirts works well and has the pant integration if you need it. The shell fabric is light and nice and although nothing has happened, I fear it could rip in the trees. Not the burliest fabric...but I still like it.
