Dimensions are off
Dimensions are off, the bag height is closer to 43cm, which makes the about about 17 inches high instead of 16 inches. This might seem like a small thing but many airlines limit personal bag height to 16 inches. Other than that, the bag is almost perfect as a small getaway bag that can store underneath an airplane seat. I would appreciate a strap on the back so it could be attached to carry on luggage handles, but beyond that it's great.

The (almost best) air traveler backpack
Absolutely amazing backpack for those that want to maximize the amount of stuff they can bring in cabin during a flight. This backpack fits just perfectly under the seat (the top pokes out a bit but it didn't bother me even though I'm 6ft and fly on Economy class. The organization in the backpack is great, and the mesh separation makes it much easier to pop it open and grab 1-2 things instead of digging through everything and making a mess. I only give it 4 stars because the straps could use some extra padding or support. When the backpack gets slightly heavy, the straps dug into my shoulders and made my arms very uncomfortable. I will still use it as my main travel backpack but oh I wish there was at least a chest strap to distribute the weight more evenly.

Great for a piano teacher!
I bought this backpack in red about a year ago. I almost didn't because of the price, but I specifically wanted a durable backpack that opened like a suitcase and retained it's shape. So many backpacks like this are floppy, or are actually heavy suitcases. This one fit the bill perfectly, so I had to splurge and hope for the best. No regrets! I needed it to carry my lap top, ipad, chargers, piano books, wallet, water, and small teaching tools to and fro the teaching studio. I also wanted to be able to easily access everything without dumping the contents on the floor. It Works perfectly, and I get a ton of compliments on how nice the bag looks. It looks professional despite the bright red color, and is very durable. Bonus is how much I use it outside of teaching. I use it for short two or three day trips as well, or any time I need to transport more than just my laptop. It is a bulky pack that sticks out from your back quite a bit, so only get this if it suits your needs. Otherwise, a regular pack will do you fine.

Perfect for a weekend getaway!
The pack fits enough clothes/toiletries for a weekend (2 days). I was able to even fit an extra change of clothes or hiking. I also used this as my carryon for a cross country flight and it fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. The only down side to this was it was harder to get snacks/magazines out of when we were in the air. Would recommend!
