I love all things Fjallraven and I have been stalking this coat for months for there to be a promotion. This coat is thin, lightweight, long, and well constructed. It will be the perfect coat for spring/autumn. Unfortunately, this coat did not work out for me fit-wise. I have been cursed with a 39" bust that must be accommodated. I was hoping that adjustable band on this coat would allow me to fit my shape - so I look like a woman wearing a coat instead of a woman wearing a tent. Sadly, the adjustable waist was only adjustable about an inch on each side. The size chart is accurate - the large did fit my bust. Sadly, the rest of the coat was so big that I looked like a child wearing their parents coat. Get this coat, you lucky people with reasonable proportions. I envy you.

I wanted an everyday winter jacket that covered my thighs, had a smooth exterior material with clean lines, had a hood, reasonable pockets, and was made with sustainable materials. This jacket is amazing and I am so pleased with it. I have a down parka which is just too warm for most winter days in VT, and my technical light jackets (a micro down hoodie and a softshell) were simply not enough on their own (I was getting lazy about layering them and wanted to preserve them for technical use). The quality of the stitching and materials on this feels top notch and I have a feeling I will have this jacket for easily 10 to 20 years. The color is rich and the sizing is right on. I'm 5'4" and probably 135lbs and I got a medium, however I think a small would have been fine. I like the little bit of extra length in the sleeves (fingers stay warmer and wrists are always covered no matter where my arms are) and the ability to layer a thick wool sweater underneath. Very pleased with the sizing and my choice to go with the medium.

So my wife loves Fjallraven, I do too, dont get me wrong. I was skeptical on this one though, and their are so many jackets similar to this. However, upon receipt, it is VERY clear how this is different than say, the Greenland Parka. This is lightly insulated with their synthetic insulation, and faced with G1000, so you know it will fend off the chill. BUT the best part is the cinch at the back. My wife is very petite and most jackets end up looking a little boxy on her, or SUPER tight in the shoulders to get the right waist size. This jacket allowed her to get the XS (5'4" 110lbs) and have ample room to move, or to layer a chunky sweater under and not have her arms stuck out to the side. Plus the color is amazing.

Would this jacket be warm enough for Minnesota? Thanks

Hi Ligia! Thanks for the question. This more of a lighter weight fill Parka. From my experience, it may not be the best from where you are located. You may want to look at the Fjallraven Greenland Parka or the Nuuk. They are a down fill and will have more insulation.

Hi there ! I was wondering if you knew the arm length for this jacket ? Please

Is there a certain size you'd like us to check on that for you?
