Technically-advanced and eco-friendly.
Fjallraven meets the demands of eco-conscious alpinists, trekkers, and climbers with the Women's Keb Pant. Made mostly of recycled polyester and organic cotton, the Keb achieves a green status while still remaining highly durable for the rough outdoors. Fjallraven waxed the shell with G-1000 for improved durability and increased water-resistance, and you can reapply the wax in different thicknesses to accommodate each season accordingly. The Keb also features articulated knees for a full range of motion, zippered openings from knee to hip for ventilation, and a strap adjustment at each cuff for boots. There are pockets designed specifically for a knife and a map, and there are more pockets for personal organization.

Great Pants! Great color
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
These pants are super durable and great for any adventure. They are a heavier weight and I love them for hiking in fall/winter. I am 5'2 and always have trouble finding hiking pants that aren't too long. Love that these come in both regular and short lengths. I am a size 28 in the US and am in between the 36 and 38 EU size. I went with the 38 short and they fit pretty great. I'd always rather my hiking pants have some flexibility versus being too tight.
Worth the wait
I had been saving up for these pants and going back and forth for I kid you not like months! I finally took the plunge after going camping and wearing leggings of some sort and wishing I had these bad boys on.
The fit: 5' 3" 130 pounds I fit into the 36, (got regular length but should have gotten shorts) otherwise well. A little tight in the booty but that's my body shape. Love that they can be tightened to be boot cut style or let loose to fit around some high hiking boots.
The quality: indestructible fabric from what I can tell?? I put these things through the wringer. Also heavy weight so if it's chilly these are perfect... if it's hot I might reconsider. But great for camping i enjoy where lows are around 35.
All in all a great pant for your outdoor adventures and will definitely be back for more styles
Awesome pants but only sold in "Short"!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: 36
- Height: 5'8"
- Weight: 130lbs
I received these pants as a Christmas gift and they are really cool! Unfortunately, even after doing extensive research on sizing and referring to the size chart, they were too small. I am usually a US size 27 or 4 in pants, which means I should be 36, but they were pretty dang tight around my upper thigh and could barely button them. Also, I received a "short," which was not specified when choosing a size.
I spoke with a Backcountry employee and she said that they only carry the "short" length because the pants run longer than most other pants. Unfortunately for me, I usually am between a "regular" or "long" in length, so these pants were too short for me as well. I will now be returning these pants and buying directly from Fjallraven so I can get my correct size.
Other than sizing issues, these pants seem awesome! I got the Tarmac/Dark Olive color and they look very nice. The darker parts are a durable, stiffer material, while the lighter parts are a super stretchy material, making them flexible and durable in the parts that need it.
Now that I have received the correct size, which turned out to be a 40 (which is the equivalent to a 10, what the heck?!?!) they fit great and I am very excited to actually use them!
How would these be for snow shoeing with some tights underneath?
Hey Jayelinn, These pants would be great for snowshoeing - especially with the built in gaiter. They'll fit well with a pair of leggings if you get the right size. They have vents on the thighs as well if you overlayer!
What is the inseam length on the Fjallraven Keb Trouser 36 regular?
Do you have a product short 40 size?
