Warm, light, and made to wander.
When you're carrying your life on your back, keeping things light is paramount; Fjallraven's Keb Loft Men's Hooded Jacket tips the scales at just over one pound, so it won't weigh you down when you're hitting the trails for a week of trekking. It also boasts G-Loft Supreme synthetic insulation, which packs down small so you have room in your pack for other essentials, and a low-profile hood flips up to keep your ears warm without getting in the way when it's hanging. Fjallraven also gave the Keb hand, chest, and internal pockets for low-profile storage when you're moving and finished the cuffs and hem with elastic binding to help keep heat in.
- Performance insulator packs small and stays warm when wet

Does run a bit large, but the thing is still super comfortable. Super soft, comfortable, and insanely light. The internal pockets are a nice touch, and the elastic fit is easy to move with.

Runs large
Great overall layer that can be worn over a t shirt in a long hike. It can also be worn as a base layer underneath a rain coat or shell. My favorite was the hood, it serves two purposes. One for keeping your head warm and another for packing the jacket.

Water resistant? Comfortable to what temperatures?

Hi Jason, This jacket has a polyester face fabric that should resist water for a short time but it does not contain a water proof membrane or DWR coating for enhanced water resistance. This jacket will certain keep you warm but its comfort level at a specific temperature is highly subjective depending on the person. Let me know if you'd like to try it out and I can set up an order for you at mbova@backcountry.com. Thanks!
