Fleecy, woolly warmth.

The Fjallraven Men's Keb Fleece Hoodie has some wool and stretch in its soft, warm fleece, and the result is a hoodie you can hike, tour, or paddle in. Like all Fjallraven clothing, the Keb comes with an authentic mountain heritage that thrives in ski towns and coastal cities. Fjallraven reinforced the shoulders with waxed G-1000 fabric for abrasion- and weather-resistance where it counts.

My favorite hoodie

This is my favorite hoodie of all time. It’s the main hoodie I wear when I need to feel warm, comfortable and well dressed. I unfortunately lost it so I’m saving up for another one! I love Fjallraven products

Amazing Fleece

I picked this up because I needed an active fleece that could wick moisture. After testing in 20 degree F weather, it held up well just standing around and was comparable to a Patagonia Better Sweater. For active use, it has no comparison. I summited Mt Washington in the winter with this, and barely needed anything else. The weather was 20 degrees. I wore only this the majority of the day besides adding a light jacket for some windy sections. I was amazed how it wicked moisture when I started sweating, but also kept me warm when we were in the snow and wind. Sizing: I am 5'11 and roughly 170 with a slim athletic build. The large is pretty great, with good sleeve length, and the hood fits well and provides protection. I would say it is slightly tight around the shoulders. If you wear a heavy long sleeve shirt underneath, maybe size up.

Love this one

Great everyday hoodie. Smooth and sleek on the outside and cozy on the inside. Not super breathable but that's what the zipper is for, right? I'd recommend sizing up one size from what you'd normally go for, if possible. Would love to see Fjallraven extend their sizing.

Excellent but not cosy

A beautifully made top that feels soft to touch. It is tight but stretchy enough to be comfortable. People say to size up but be aware fjallraven arms are very long. The sleeves are tight at the cuff so this isn’t as much of an issue as on their other tops when sizing up. Good pockets, looks super in the dark navy. BUT don’t buy it thinking it is ‘warm’ as so many reviews tell you. Of course it is warm if your generating heat, but it is useless as a cosy fleece when you are still. Fair enough it isn’t advertised as wind protection, and this is also true, what little warmth you generate is lost immediately in a cold wind as it cuts straight through. Great for layering when outside, and for looking cool and sporty in a warm indoors space, but not for wearing in in a cold room, or siting waiting for the bus. Very desirable top as long as you know it’s not warm.

Perfect

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
M

This fleece hooded jacket is the most versatile mid-layer zip-up I've ever worn. I've had it for a little over 2 years now and it continues to impress! This jacket is as durable as it is comfortable. I've worn it as a mid layer in many frigid, cold-weather environments. I also wear it as a standalone all the time, and believe me...I've put it thru the ringer and back, and I swear you can barely tell it's been worn at all, let alone the washed at least a half dozen times (would recommend using a wool specific laundry detergent like Perwool). I'm 5'10" 180 and it fits me like a glove.. However, I have noticed that many Fjallraven jackets tend to run just a teeny tiny hair on the small side (for myself at least), so if you're generally right on the cusp between 2 sizes, and you're trying to decide on which, I might go with the larger size 1st

Performs as Suggested

Finally had a chance to try my new Keb Fleece Hoodie and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It kept me warm and was comfortable. Because of the smooth outside surface, it was easy to wear an outer layer (puffy jacket) without a struggle to get it on. The hood helped me as well to keep the weather out. Good choice!

Extremely nice base/midlayer!

This jacket fills that weird grey area between a base layer, and a midlayer. The fit is slim and athletic, so it does bundle up those loose base layers underneath it when you stretch out your arms. Works much better with tight fitting base layers though, particularly synthetic-blends. Surprisingly warm for how thin it is, it's very tightly woven outer fabric traps heat efficiently. Comfortable in the upper 40s with just a t-shirt under it. Put the hood up, and it will keep you warm into the upper 30s with just a base layer. Breaths and stretches very well too. The wind resistance is decent, and when compared to a basic zip up fleece, it's much better for both warmth and wind resistance. Can't attest for durability yet, but you are paying for some very good, warm, and comfortable fabrics. For sizing, if you want it to be form fitted and close to your skin, choose your normal sizing. Loose base layers won't work well underneath it and will get scrunched up with movement (with the exception of short sleeves/sleeveless). Go a size up if you want a bit more room and want to wear it like any other 'hoodie'. I wish I could say I'd be confident brushing up against branches and foliage with this, but it isn't designed for that, and you will need a shell/jacket over this for off-trail wooded areas. Will work everywhere else as a top layer except for the deep untamed woods. Definitely the best looking and highest performing 'hoodie' I own ;)

The Perfect Midlayer

As the title suggests, this genuinely is the perfect middle layer. There’s nothing I could possibly conceive of to make this better. It’s that simple. Everything is just so carefully thought through. The choice of materials (wool/poly blend), the tight moisture wicking fit, and the aesthetic (including the colour, I got a dark navy fleece), are in my view, all sublime. I practice minimalism, and therefore prefer to pick articles of clothing with great durability and versatility, hence the reason I went for the Keb fleece. It is just as suitable in nature, as it is around town.

Fantastic Shell

This is a lovely shell. I used it primarily for snowboarding and it worked like a charm. Wore it over a toasty mid layer in frigid temps and it protected beautifully against the wind blast and held up well in the terrain. Very highly recommended.

Very practical, great quality

As the owner of 5 or 6 Fjallraven raven tops of various types, this one is the one I use the most. It's very comfortable a great mid layer for those harsher weather days, or as a top layer in the not so bad days. It looks great & this is after owning one for 3 years now. The reason I'm here again is to purchase another in a different colour. As usual the quality is top notch. As the saying goes you only get what you pay for.
