From winding coastal trails to bike rides through town, the Fjallraven High Coast 24 Backpack is a great choice for mellow hikes and everyday life. Thanks to its G-1000 fabrics, this pack is durable and highly water-resistant, and can be treated with Fjallraven's Greenland wax to make the material even more resistant to rain. - Q & A
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I use this bag daily for work while commuting. I have washed it and it has held up very well.
I'm so happy with this pack
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I really love this bag. It's waterproof and compact but roomy. I'm picky and I wanted a bag that was sturdy but not bulky, waterproof, had slimmer straps that wouldn't fall off my shoulders and didn't break the bank. I was hoping to find a flap covered bag because I like the extra room for strapping down sweaters but I couldn't find anything that was quite right and this does have a drawstring closer which gives a bit of extra room over the 24L.
It has such a low profile that I don't mind walking around with it on and all the additional support straps were removable so it'll be a good carryon as well.
Lightweight and Stylish
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I got this as a gift for a friend and he had this to share:
The features of this pack are very minimal and this is what I like about it. It has a nice opening and a great rucksack-style closing. The chest strap has a built in whistle that is really neat, I'd recommend this bag to my friends.
I've had no problems with my things getting wet yet in the rain. Not sure if that is due to the quality fabric or the 2 rainstorms I was in with this pack being weak. I'd like to think it was due to the quality of the fabric.
