Maybe it's the natural beauty surrounding Fjallraven's headquarters that inspires a greener future. Great fit great gear
I used this coat in 2024. This is the best coat I ever own. There was a review about the cufs being awkward. I think this is just a preference issue. I love these sleeve cuffs because the are versatile for many types of gloves mits. I live in the Montreal area and this was a great every day all purpose coat. I get warm and sweat easily. Never had any trouble with this coat. I love the pockets for my gloves or tuque. The inside pocket is super convenient. The hand warming pockets are awesome and comfortable. For me, this was a great fit! Out of my 3 Fjallraven coats, this one is my favorite by far.

Warm and Stylish
I purchased this jacket for Wisconsin winters. The zipper seems high quality (albeit opposite side for us NA's). Walked around in teen-farenheit temps without any complaints so far. Definitely need to use the 2-way zipper when sitting down in the car to enable comfort while seated. I'm 5'11" tall, 185 pounds. I'm torso-tall, a bit of a rounded belly, with average shoulder width. Size XL is perfect for me. The jacket has a nice weight to it and fits to the body, making me look far more athletic than I really am. I'm 95% sure a size L would be too snug unless I lose another 10 to 15 pounds in the waist. Can probably wear this to nicer events if I'm ever invited to one. I will try adding the wax to the shoulders to help waterproof the jacket. I've never owned wool, so my concern would be how it feels on a wet day.

Stunning
I purchased this coat in the Deep Forest green color as I have a Filson wool coat that is already two toned and wanted something that looked more monochrome. The green colors on this coat (between the G1000 and wool) blend together well. I am 5'10" 150 pounds and purchased a small. It is possible a medium could have fit also but overall it would have looked a bit too large. The small is a nice fit on me and still allows room for a sweater or hoodie underneath. There is not a ton of room for layering, but the coat itself has the polyester lining throughout which basically serves as a layer on it's own. I've not yet gotten to wear this in the thick of Winter, but I'm fairly confident I will not reach for this coat on the coldest of days. Having said that, this coat will probably get the most wear out of my entire collection come Winter. It is an ideal weight for daily wear on the East Coast. The G1000 reinforced areas are excellent and will make this jacket last many, many years given their strategic placement. The wool feels exceptional to the touch and I was a bit apprehensive regarding the wool since it was made from recycled wools and leftover materials but the quality is truly exceptional. I quickly casted those doubts aside. The coat is a stunning garment and I cannot wait for colder weather just so I get to wear it. I love the two way full zip closure which is extremely helpful for sitting/bending, and I greatly appreciate the button closure flap that covers the zipper. This will enhance the zipper life and provide extra wind resistance. The hem has two cinch cords for a customized fit to keep the wind out. There are pockets for galore on the front of the jacket, including two handwarmer pockets behind the bellows pockets, and there is a zip pocket on the interior by the chest and one behind the wax instructional guide near the waist. The hood is quite large and is not adjustable, but it is very warm and also lined with the large piled fleece. The inner sleeves are a smooth poly lining to help you layer over your other clothing. This makes for a smooth on and off which I appreciate. The coat is a bit heavy due to the interior pile-fleece lining, but I prefer a solid feeling outer layer most days in the Winter so it does not bother me in the least. It is comparable to other wool coats I own. Just a couple of cons/improvements I would like to see. When fully zipped, the neck is a bit tight for my liking and difficult to button at the top. I have a slim athletic build with decent shoulder width but still, I'm a slender guy and I won't be utilizing the top button. In fact, the zipper comfortably stops below my chin. If I try to go any higher, it chokes me. I love the tall collar coverage for extra protection from the wind, but I cannot comfortably zip the jacket past the top of my neck. I would like to see an adjustable hood in some form or fashion, just to make it a little more snug. I'm also a bit unsure how I will be cleaning this item. It cannot be dry cleaned and I always have my wool coats dry cleaned. I'm sure this is due to the G1000 material throughout. I suppose I will have to hand wash this coat in a special wool detergent as needed. Not a huge deal, I just did not think about it prior to purchase. I'm certainly not comfortable throwing it in the washing machine given the wool exterior, but perhaps that is OK based on the item description? This is a beautiful, very warm Winter coat. I highly recommend it and look forward to many years wear. It lays nicely, providing ample room for some layers while also maintaining a somewhat trim appearance for a Winter coat. It is incredibly stylish but highly functional. I found zero reviews on this coat in my research online so my hope is this will assist other potential buyers.
