Love the technical look, perfect fit, and apparent functionality (four stars cause not field tested)
Have not tested in real conditions yet but these pants are exactly what I was looking for: well built technical look/feel, not baggy, functional front-facing pockets for map, navigational gear, and trail food, and, I hope, perfect for summer/high temp hikes, trail runs, and rogaines. Purchased 32 waist and fit perfectly. In a slow jog, did not drag on hips and knees like other brand jogging/trail running trousers.

So far so good!
Not trail tested yet, which is the only reason I'm withholding one star. Will update my review after I've lived in them for 12 days on the trail at Philmont Scout Ranch in northern New Mexico's high desert mountains. Lightweight. Comfortable. I like the use of snaps in place of a button above the fly. Waist to knee side zips are a must have. Ordered "Light Olive" which is nowhere near olive. It's a shade of khaki. As a Scout leader, I really wish these trousers came in Laurel Green. (Can't wear these when we're required to dress in our "Class A's.") We wear tan/khaki shirts and tan over tan is -- not stylin'. l almost docked you another star for that but, hey, I'm a nice guy. ;-) Fjallraven designers/marketers - ***ALL*** of your pants should come in "Scout Green". Your "Laurel Green" is close enough. You're missing out on a huge market, at least in the US.

Best pants and favorite Fjallraven item I've ever purchased.
These are by far my favorite pants ever for trekking, travelling etc. Super comfortable and lightweight, but also tough as nails. After several overnights and rounds of deep mud and butt-sliding down rocks, they still look brand new.

Light and Comfortable Traveler Pant
Very well designed pair of lightweight travel pants. Very fast trying. Great mobility without being baggy. Technical appearance, thankfully just shy of tactical appearance. Lots of pockets, but mysteriously no back pocket, which is a drag. Contrasty ones will make a statement, if you are the look at me louie type. Wish there were more understated color options and definitely wish they had a back pocket. I typically wear 32" or 31" waist, definitely needed the 30-31.

Great fit
Usually wear a 34 and ordered a 33-34, fit and felt fantastic. Vent zips are perfect with plenty of pockets. Hiked on the coast with these and they kept me warm enough from the ocean breeze yet i wasnt uncomfortable for a second because of excess heat. If you're looking for lifetime pants it's well worth the money.

Awesome!
I bought these last year 2021 in the spring in forest green which sadly Fjallraven already stopped making this colour:( I am 215lbs, 5’11” and I bought size 54 (37”) reg. Before I tried these pants out, I almost returned them thinking they were almost like my Keb pants. I am so happy I didn’t return them. They have become my favourite summer pants. Cons: tiny flaw is the draw strap at the base of the leg. It can be difficult to adjust compared to the Keb pants. Other thing which is something I’d love to see change on all Fjallraven pants is a screen material in the ventilation openings. I reside in Ontario Canada and black flies, deer flies and mosquitoes will help themselves in to any little opening where you are exposed. Pros: although a lot like the Keb pants, these seem to stretch more and uses a lighter version of the G1000 making them cooler for summer. I wore these pants every time I was camping throughout the summer and in to early fall. The G1000 lite is still very durable. I would recommend these pants if you are a hiker, canoeist and camper. A lite comfortable pant with durable stretch features! I’d buy these again if Fjallraven brings back the forest green colour. Very happy with this purchase.

These pants are QUITE expensive but awesome and worth it IMO. I work in a garment factory and I can say that the price is justified when considering the amount of sewing construction that went into these pants. There are all kinds of bells and whistles, like zippered pockets, side vents, articulated knees, upper back yoke, contrast paneling for using more durable fabric, gusseted crotch, etc. The map pocket with the two snaps is pretty nifty too. I wore these for three days in the Los Padres forest, hot as heck, and I was just fine. The side thigh zips for ventilation are clutch. The fabric breathes really nice and the fit runs tight for my usual 32 waist so I went 33-34 with a belt and that was just fine. The 33-34 was a little baggier in the legs which was better for cooling. 32 was like a slim fit. With 33-34 I could bend, sit, squat, all super comfy. 32 was really restrictive. Fabric is strong. I found myself off trail for a good 45 minutes bushwacking through riparian overgrowth, and these things didn't get a single snag through all the dead branches, tree trunks, and shrubs that scraped against it.

Fantastic Summer Travel/Hiking/Fishing Pants
Can't say enough great things about these pants! Enjoyed them on hikes and in the raft/driftboat all summer. Love the ventilation!

Very cool and ventilated pants
Many ventilation options and the material itself is very light and breathable, excellent for the summer heat and humidity. Practical pockets and reinforced knees and rear is good. Even when waxed the pants are still very cool.

Lighter Than Air
These pants are the perfect combination of lightweight, breathable and ease of mobility for my summer hikes. Really enjoy the placement of the pockets on the front of the thigh versus the sides and the fact that I am able to wax a stretchy fabric boggles my mind in the best way possible.
