Abisko Midsummer Short

The Fjallraven Men's Abisko Midsummer Short represents a whole new category from Fjallraven. It's a lightweight, well-ventilated pair of shorts designed for trekking in warmer weather. It'll come in handy when the weather forecast is calling for wind when you're planning backpacking trips. Most of this short is a very pliant polyester that packs small when it starts to feel like summer again, and Fjallraven's G-1000 Air Stretch paneling provides extra breathability and mobility on the mountains. Air Stretch is a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester, too.

Midsommar shorts

188/86kg. Size 52. Really good fit. Lightweight, cool, dries quickly. Really like my "Midsommarshorts"

Great pair of Summer shorts

Love these shorts. Good fit very comfy when out hillwalking. Feel much better in hot and sweaty conditions than previous walking shorts I’ve had. Look good due to contrasting colour design.

So close but...

Had my eye on these shorts for the longest. Was very excited to get a paid, but disappointed that the seam chafes my inner thigh. Had to return and hoping Fjallraven will make less perceptible seams in future shorts. Still gave it four stars because I love the brand and the product is nice and quality as you would expect, but be ready to wear long undies. 6'0 175 and took a 50" (48's were a bit too small in the seat, although I do wear 48 in the midsummer pants).

Versatile, comfortable, and stylish

Worn in the Utah desert heat, the Colorado high alpine, and in and out of all the rivers in between.

I am a fan of Fjallraven pants and shorts already so stoked to see an option with lighter fabric that still has reinforcements where it is needed. I use them for every day but also have been using them recently for mountain biking. Great length and like that you can zipper shut the top hand pockets. I went with the savanna color which I leaned towards due to the contrast in with the reinforcements that looked more technical, Might go back for the navy since it has a different vibe being more tonal.
