    Abisko Lite Trekking Pant

From time to time, the most splendid adventures can be found in the most unlikely of places. Built to embark upon the bushwack of a lifetime or the road less taken, the Fjallraven Women's Abisko Lite Trekking Pant offers premium performance and paramount comfort in those otherwise hairy yet exhilarating situations. Constructed with the durable, four-way stretch G-1000 fabric, these pants are equipped with strategic mesh ventilation that encourages optimal body temperature regulation while the lower cuffs are furnished with a rugged G-1000 HeavyDuty fabric that keeps clingy brush and rocks at bay. Not to mention, the Abisko is fashioned with an articulated cut that comes complete with pre-shaped knees and rear as well as a higher-cut rear waistband that discourages that unsavory exposed sensation while squatting or wearing a pack.

    Tree Climber

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    Size Bought36
    Height5` 2"
    Weight130 lbs

I am 5'2" and 130 lbs, built muscular in the shoulders and thighs. I bought a 36 and a 38, because I wasn't sure which size to choose. The 36 fits great around the waist and thighs; I have a 29" waist. Best of all, I wear these to climb trees in the orchard and hike around checking for pests and diseases. They are cool enough even when temperatures get above 100 F, and very flexible for climbing etc... This is definitely one of my favorite pairs of pants.

    Like super awesome....

Like super awesome dress pants that you can wear at the office or on the trail. Stretchy but doesn’t lose shape. Fit is a little more snug than the g1000 pants like Vidda or Barents. I got the 34 (us 26) and they fit great but I wear a 32 (us 24) in the g1000 pants - from the wife

    They feel great!

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    Fit:True to size
    Size Bought38
    Height5` 8"
    Weight139 lbs

I have not had these pants for very long and have only tested them during casual wear. But I can already tell that they are super comfortable without any restriction of movement. I will be taking these on a 2-week hiking trip through the North Cascades and will be able to say more about how they hold up in rain and sun but for now I just like the look and the fit. The materials seems very light and breathable where needed, and durable in other sections. I bought a size 38, which is my usual EU size, and they fit well, slightly tight on the thighs but not restrictive; that's just the style. Definitely stylish enough to wear around town! Coming off the mountain after days or weeks outside of civilization, I know I will look more presentable than in my baggy old pants :)

    Bought a Loose fit

    Size Bought40
    Height5` 4"
    Weight130 lbs

These pants are very comfortable, and I was surprised at how much I loved them. The only think I would change would be the size. I have a size that fits very loose and large; however, it fits a very loose casual style. I took these out for a weekend trip where I experienced sun, snow, rain, and mud. The soft shell is great for light rain and snow. There is a hook on the front, which act as an integrated gaiter. You can also tighten the bottom of the pant around your ankle, or around your boot to prevent snow from getting in your shoe. There is also plenty of breathable fabric on the back of the pant so that I was never hot while hiking. I could have easily gone with a size 36 for a tighter fit. However depending on your needs and what you are looking for size up if you would like more room.

    From Expeditions to Road Trips

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    Fit:Runs small

    Weight140 lbs

These pants are phenomenal! I have always sworn by hiking in shorts, or leggings if it got too cold. These are the first trekking pants that I have found provide enough articulation in the knees, flexibility in fit, and other features. The built in gaiters are perfect for keeping brush and dirt out of your boots while hiking. There is a tiny hook that goes around your boot lace in addition to a gusseted cuff on the pant leg. The thigh vents allow heat to escape quickly when you start going uphill or the weather heats up. I used these pants for a six week expedition in the Arctic and found them to be just perfect from about 70* all the way down to 10* with a base layer beneath them. At really warm temps, they did get hot, even with the thigh vents. I'm generally an 8-10 in pants, 29

Is the dusk colorway two toned like the others?
