Enduro racers looking for a saddle that'll provide flexible comfort without breaking the bank will be happy to find the Fizik Monte Manganese Saddle. Its manganese rails won't soak up quite as much vibration as more expensive materials, but they provide excellent durability and resistance to wear.
The theme of durability extends to the Monte's carbon-reinforced nylon shell, which features Extended Tail Flex technology at the rear to allow a variety of positioning options as you're bombing descents and drops. A channel runs along the center of the saddle for added pressure relief in sensitive areas, and it's surrounded by soft, low-density cushioning for a more forgiving—but not overwhelmingly plush—ride. As a final touch, Fizik covers the saddle shell with a mix of durable Microtex and Cordura.

Stoked On This Saddle
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I grabbed this saddle because my old saddle was ripping near the back. The cordura on the back of this saddle is nice and thick so I know it won't rip if I lean it up against a brick wall. The softness in the middle is also an added bonus for me when I forget to stand-up over the rough stuff.
Solid MTB saddle for the money
The Monte is an underrated saddle in Fizik's family... its weight and purpose means its less appealing some of their more traditional XC oriented saddles like the Tundra or Gobi. That being said, the Monte with its additional padding, more rugged construction, and lower price point makes it ideal for trail and all-mountain types of riding. It's shape is pretty similar to a WTB Silverado but a bit wider at 142mm vs. 133mm
