Classic mocs with a synthetic twist.

The last thing you want to deal with while you're cranking out that trad multi-pitch is having to slip on and off your uncomfortable, aggressive climbing shoes in between climbs. Slip on your Five Ten Moccasym Synthetic Climbing Shoes instead and your feet will be comfortable, rubbery, and protected as ever. This synthetic take on Five Ten's original Moccasyms will eliminate the stretch factor that comes with leather shoes. Nothing else has changed, though, so you still get the radical stick and friction from the Stealth rubber sole and the easy-going profile that the Mocs have proven useful during long pitches and working out trad problems. Just be sure that you have an extra set of defunking shoe bombs nearby, because synthetic shoes like to show off your feet's hard work in the form of stink.

    • Flat climbing shoes for working out moderate trad climbs
    • Synthetic upper avoids serious stretch
    • Stealth rubber sole offers pristine friction
    • Slipper closure for easy on and off

    Runs normal size

Just bought these in a 7.5 my toes were crunched up, I’m normally a women’s 9.5 street shoe. So I returned them and I’m going to order a size 8.5 because I tried on the regular moccasyms and I found that an 8.5 fit me perfectly, these won’t stretch like the leather ones.

      great so far

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

bought these for my kid who is just starting to climb. he only has used them a couple time inside so far but he says they feel great. he did have to upsize a half size as they were a little snug.

The OG shoe that does it all

I️ wore the red mocs for years and did many resoles. These shoes are known for being a crack climbing classic but they can handle much more. I️ wear these shoes on easy boulder sessions, sport climbing all day, and training in the gym. The edge does go away eventually but the rubber lasts a long time. SIZING: These do not stretch like the older models so you should go up half a size.

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was super excited to try these out. I have been climbing in moccasyms for nearly two decades, and they have been my go for most climbing days. I was really looking forward to a less stretch version, and they have been pretty awesome as well. Even knowing that these are not going to stretch, I was surprised that they fit so much tighter than out of the box red mocs. I ended up sizing up 1/2 a size from normal moccasyms and they fit great.

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Size Bought: 9.5
        • Height: 5'8"
        • Weight: 135lbs

I bought these not knowing what to expect. I wanted the original moccs but i didn't want the stretch. There were not any reviews out there when i bought them so i was skeptical but, they delivered. The fit is just right and since it is synthetic, it will stay that way. Super sticky would recommend.

Thanks! I've been thinking the same thing.
What is your street shoe size? My first pair of 5.10s , a pair of Newtons, I sized down a half size from my street shoe. It was a good fit, but tight enough where I couldn't wear them all day trad climbing. Would you say these shoes are sized similarly?

        Thanks for the review, Marshall.

Bjornsson, most people size 1/2 a size down from their street shoe. If you are intending to use these only for very long day, going with your street shoe size, may be the right option for you.
