Why We Like The Impact Pro Cycling Shoe
Five Ten was the first brand on the market with a sole that gripped like crazy to your flat pedals, seeing they used climbing-inspired Stealth rubber on the bottom of the original Impact Shoes for sticky traction. After varying redesigns addressing issues of overall durability, the Impact Pro Shoe is back to solidify Five Ten's dominance in the world of aggressive all-mountain and gravity disciplines with its stout and sturdy design, complete with Stealth rubber that originally made it famous among riders using flats.
If you're going to ride with flats, then this is the shoe to have, at least if you don't want to slip off your pedals at an inopportune moment, only to fly off your bike at high speeds or suffer a painful pedal shot to your shin. That's because the newest version of the Impact Pro is using a Stealth S1 outsole with traction bumps throughout to dig into your pedals without slipping, even if it's wet and muddy on the trail. The upper is reinforced too, with a Poron XRD foam toe cap taking the sting out of slamming your toes on a fall or bashing the front of the shoes into a sharp rock.

Not for wide feet
These shoes run very narrow in my opinion. And because of the design of the shoe, there is no room for movement. If you have even a slightly wide foot, I would avoid this shoe. Addtionally the laces are very cheap and the insole offers no support. Good idea, poor excecution.

Hope over time they feel better
Had to change insoles. Uppers are stiffer than original 5 tens. Harder to break in

Best MTB shoes I’ve owned yet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time riding with them I hit some 40’+ jumps and the grip amazed me! My feet felt glued to my pedals. Amazing support as well. Very grateful they come in a size 15. Almost impossible to find shoes my size.

Not representing Adidas I knew before this shoe.
I was shocked the shoe ran on tight compared to my normal size. It felt like if it was made of wood with little piece of cloth wrapped inside it. This means that it did hurt immediately. I tried it on in disbelief. I taught myself that I was perhaps conned by someone who works for the Adidas I knew and loved before this day. I am writing this review . I think I am done with it. Despite returning the gear, it feels like they'll be doing the same sale next time. So, I have to shut down my connection with them.

Downhill shark
Reinforced shank makes these very comfortable on longer descents.

Nice, but a bit firm for daily wear
If you’re not a mountain biker or cyclist and you’re on the fence with these, then this review is for you. The best way to describe them is they fit like a low cut skateboarding shoe made from snowboarding boot materials. The padding around the ankle is not as thick as a skate shoe and they are quite firm. A bit too firm to skate in, imho, and If you have a thicker foot, I found they pinch a bit across the top of my toe knuckles when I bend them about halfway, like the final position of the trailing foot when you’re walking or skating. If you need a protective shoe, they’re great. If you just want a comfy shoe for general daily wear, there are better choices.
