- Q & A
I use these boots for climbing cell towers. They have performed amazingly well in every season the Pacific Northwest has thrown at me. They stick to wet steel, support my arch on thousand foot plus days of tower leg Climbing, and keep my feet dry and warm. Add gaiters, and you are sealed from foot to head under your rain gear! I have one little section of stitch that came out, but overall, these boots should be standard issue for tower workers as well as weekend approaches. So sad to see that Adidas is discontinuing then.
Excellent, durable and light!

The Camp Four GTX Mids did not disappoint. Plenty of stability and support for hauling loads through the snow yet light and fast enough for long desert approaches. I thought I'd mind the GTX in the desert - just the opposite. It really helped keep fine sands out of my socks and helped prevent blisters from dirty, nasty feet. The rubber is deeply lugged for great traction and super sticky for water crossings and boulder hopping.
I can't rave enough about these shoes - Five Ten really stepped it up and made a great all around comfortable mountain shoe. I'm going on year two with these and they are holding up great. No delamination like my old pair of Five Tennies. Ran true to size.
