Anasazi Blanco Climbing Shoe

The Anasazi Blanco Climbing Shoe is Five Ten's most aggressive shoe in the Anasazi lineup and is best suited for edging highly slabby-to-vertical routes and highly technical problems. Five Ten updated this Anasazi with a stiff midsole, moderate asymmetry, and Stealth's best-selling C4 rubber sole to give it the best edging performance in Five Ten's collection. The lined synthetic upper resists stretching so the shoe stays snug for seasons, and the lace closure ensures a secure fit from toe to heel.

  • Five Ten's most aggressive Anasazi for technical rock climbs
  • Stealth C4 rubber and heel rand provide Five Ten's best edger
  • Moderate asymmetry and stiff midsole for precise footwork
  • Lined synthetic upper reduces stretching
  • Lace closure for a snug, secure fit

The best edging shoes. Period.

I've put it through the wringer

These shoes were brought back by popular demand after an international campaign, and for good reason - they are the best edging shoes on the planet. Combine that with sticky C4 rubber, and you have one of the best climbing shoes made for tech vertical and slab climbs. While the average user might not need that kind of firepower, if your climbing involves standing on lots of tiny credit-card edges and desperate smears on slick rock, you won’t find a better shoe. If you’re wondering whether this is the same shoe as the Tan or Pink, it’s not - Blancos are much stiffer, and the crazy heel tension makes them super aggressive, much like a downturned shoe but without the hassle of trying to fight the downturn on a slab or when shoving them in a crack. Expensive, but worth every penny.

Great for sport climbing

I've used it several times
Runs small
Size Bought

I tried on many pairs of shoes looking for the right fit and found the Blanco's to do the trick. I have flat feet and a narrow heel so sometimes it can be difficult on sizing. My bouldering shoes are the La Sportiva Katana Lace in a 42 (size 10 street shoe) but I found the Blanco's to run slightly smaller than most others. I actually settled on a pair in a 10.5(first time I've ever gone larger than my street shoe). Great for edging and smearing, slightly more aggressive than the Anasazi Pink or VCS but comfortable enough for longer gym sessions or sport climbing.
