Must have!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is a must have for ant angler. I hold 4-6x tippet and 4-5x fluorocarbon tippet on it. Pulling the tippet off this is a breeze. Plus with the little cutter on the far side it makes it easy to grab the perfect amount of length you need for your dry or nymph fishing. It fits perfectly on the back of my pack and never gets in the way. It is a must have.

So Great

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This Fishpond tippet bar is simple yet perfect. It easily holds 6 spools of tippet, and I would say that it could hold 7-8 comfortably. I also really like the built in line cutter, and the durable yet lightweight construction. The plastic clip is removable as well. If you're looking for something more durable to replace it with you can also use a carabiner for a bigger and more secure connection to any pack! Fly fisherman essential.

Well worth it for the price.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I used to just hung all my tippet spools from a piece of para cord on my pack but decided to add this on the a recent order. I am very pleased with its construction and functionality. The integrated line cutter is probably the coolest part of this item and I didn't even realize it was included when I placed the order! I am not super pleased with the plastic clip, it does not seem like it will be very durable and can be annoying to take on and off of the pack. Would have appreciated an wider more sturdy clip but again this item is a great add on to your next fly fishing order!

Must Have

This little tool is a tippet game changer. I love the ease of use and the functionality it provides. The line cutter feature is my favorite. The horizontal alignment is rad!

Fantastic holder!

The best feature of this holder is that its orientated Horizontally. I like this much better than the vertical holders I have had before.

Best tippet holder!

Holds as much tippet as anyone would need. Has a little razor to cut the line. Has a little color to add some spice to a drab kit. What more could you want?

Perdy cool

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

First impression was that the diameter of the parts was beefier than I had thought it was. Probably around 8-9mm. I'm impressed with the cleverness of the whole thing though. The little grey piece has a blade on it to cut your tippet which I didn't catch when looking at it on the here. Also the way that you get the tippet on and off is cool - The end of the orange part that sticks out is spring loaded so you pull the knob out and it releases the orange part to swing open to load/unload your spools. Also, I can fit spools of Maxima with plenty of extra clearance for something bigger if I had to. I dislike the clip that attaches to the bag. The clip is cumbersome to get around anything and where it connects at the bottom to the tippet holder is loose and doesn't realign well. I'm looking for a different clip/biner to use and I'm sure it will handle my petty annoyance. Overall much better than a tippet "T" or anything else for that matter. Looks cool and functions well.
