I did a lot of research before picking up this watch. I'm not necessarily a Watch Collector, but I do like watches as tools and art. That being said, I picked this watch up to be watch I could ski, fish, hunt, hike, camp with. These are some of the things I love about it:
Sapphire Crystal. This is important for the durability of the watch.
30ATM water resistance. That's amazing, and great if you SCUBA, as I do.
Screw-down Crown. much sturdier than a pull-out crown.
Roller buckle strap. Surprisingly, the roller buckle is absolutely awesome. Sturdy, beautiful (if you like machining).
Nice lums. It's not going to last all night, but it'll go for a while.
Stiff Bezel. It won't rotate on you when you don't want it to, and it is unidirectional (as it should be for a dive watch).
what I don't love:
Yeah it's a quartz watch. Not an Auto. That also means it can sit in your drawer for two weeks and will still be running when you pull it out.
The hands don't line up perfectly on the hashmarks. But it's close enough. I'd buy it again if I lost it.
Great watch, now one of my favorites and the one on my wrist right now...
