A rod, a line, and a fly.
There are only three things you need to start catching fish: the Fenwick World Class Fly Rod, a bit of line, and a fly. Whether you're taking the leap from bait fisherman to fly fisherman, or you're a seasoned vet looking to add a light and powerful workhorse to your arsenal of rods, the World Class won't disappoint on the water thanks to its Powerlux resin blank, which gives the rod a high break strength and the ability to evenly disperse stress throughout the rod, without having to add mass or weight to the overall feel of the rod.
In terms of looks, the World Class lives up to its name—its grey blank, blue wraps, and high grade cork handle give the rod that classic look, while its fast action feel is anything but old school. The Powerlux resin blank is what gives the World Class that fast action feel, which makes casting with a light downstream manageable, and it will remain resilient when that fish you hook into tries to turn head and make a run on you. Available in weights ranging from three to seven, the World Class is available in just about any size you could want for freshwater fishing, and it is available with either a half wells grip with a hardwood reel seat, or a full wells handle with fighting butt for when you're in pursuit of bass, or targeting the type of trout that are on a meat only diet.

I took my new 4wt 8' out on the Animus this weekend to try it out. Wonderful rod......plenty of sensitivity and backbone to cast on what was a windy day. Easily as good as my more expensive rigs at a third of the price.
