Synmat Duo Sleeping Pad

The Exped Synmat Duo Sleeping Pad is insulated and wide enough for keeping two campers cozy in wintertime. Exped made it into separate halves so each sleeper can have their individual firmness, and each halve has two FlatValves to inflate and deflate separately. Exped included a Schnozzel Pumpbag that can inflate the sleeping pad and store in when it's time to pack up and head home.

Expensive air mattress

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Tried this out and ultimately returned it. Even though it's one of the better air mattresses I've ever slept on, it's still an air mattress. I'm a side sleeper who is willing to compromise heavier gear for a better night's sleep. Great build quality. Separate inflation for either side is nice, as it doesn't bounce your partner around if you move. However, ultimately decided to go with the Megamat Duo. For me this was overpriced for what it is.

Isn't the Megamat still an air mattress? Or you just wanted a firmer surface? Is it quieter than the Synmat? Thanks
