Changes Not For the Good

I used to love these; unfortunately, not so much any more. These have been my uniform of the day for many years. I’ve probably worn them for 80% of my waking hours (easy when one lives in Southern CA) due to comfort and ease of washing/drying. The stretch fabric is a real plus and the general high quality gave one confidence that the garment would last a long time. I ordered 2 pairs, hoping to not have to re-order for a while. Unfortunately, these no longer fill the bill due to the changes listed below: 1) Zippered Back Pocket Gone - this is simply less secure 2) Change Pocket Gone - Most people do not carry loose change any more; however, a pocket to hold car keys or smart key fob in place in the front pocket was a very nice touch. 3) Elastic Segments in the Waist Band - Gone now, those made the garment more comfortable, especially in this time of expanding Covid19 waistlines 4) Belt Loops - previously had 7, now have 5 I thus, have returned one unopened pair of shorts and am not likely to order again unless at least some of the features listed below are again offered.
