    Drain the swamp

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

Swamp ass is a thing of the past with the Give-N-Go Sport Mesh 6in Boxer Brief. The lightweight, super breathable material is soft next to skin. I'm 5'8", with a 30 in waist and a 30 in inseam, and the smalls are awesome. If you're afraid of them running up your leg, ExOfficio offers a 9 in boxer, but the 6" have been great for me.

    Extremely comfortable and light

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small

The fabric of these is super light, comfortable, and breathable, it really felt like I had nothing on. The one thing I was not a fan of is the legs tended to ride up, which really gets annoying, especially on long days climbing or hiking. I got a small and am usually a 31-32 waist and they fit well.

FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT BOXERS

Just kidding, don't do that. But I do really like these.

I have never really been into boxers that are nylon/lycra material. These feel absolutely nothing like the ones I used to wear. These are light, and do not hug me too tightly anywhere. At the same time they don't feel too loose like boxers do to me.

I would say they run pretty true to size. I am generally a 31 waist and the small fits perfectly.

    Hmm. Great Material. Runs Up

I am a boxer brief guy through and through and love a good pair that breaths well and keeps the funk away. I wear a 32 waist and both the small and mediums fit fine.

Exofficio has a ton of hype and the material absolutely lives up to it. The fit (initially) is great, but they do run up and am hugely not a fan of that. I will say, the material itself is very comfortable and seems to breath well, but its a bit negated when you're having to pull the legs down constantly.

Not sure if there's a good solution to this, but makes a pair of underwear that has a great material a pair that just doesn't fit that well. If you needed a pair for traveling, camping, etc they would be a great pair, but keep in mind that there's a lot of other good pairs of undies for about the same price.

    What boxer breifs

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

I was wearing these as soon as i could, and it took me like 15 minutes to recognize that the tag was still on it and it was on the inside. Honestly it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything, not that it doesn't give great support, cause it does. My wife and I are going to Israel for a 2 week hiking trip. I will put up another review after we get back.

    Materially Unique

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are now my favorite pair of underwear and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing pair of underwear unlike any you have worn before. The fabric and material is what make these so amazing; with it being supple and soft but at the same time the most breathable material I have ever worn. Gonna be getting a couple more pairs of these for sure!

    Light and Breathable

I'm a big supporter of you get what you pay for and its obvious in these boxers.

Super silky light weight and extremely soft on the skin make these great warm weather underoos. Yesterday I went skiing (in May) under a hot sun and then got stranded on the side of the highway when the motor in my car blew up. I ended up standing under the blazing sun for hours waiting around. I was so comfortable I forgot I was wearing my new boxers and i know I would have been uncomfortable and hot in anything else. Quick note, I got the phantom color and they look great.

Really excited to know that ExOfficio products live up to the hype and this experience will have me coming back for more.

    The 6 Inch

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

ExOfficio Give N Go 6" Boxer Briefs are the current upgrade of a long long and many years of awesome underwear. These are silky smooth and comfortable but plenty rugged and durable for all outdoor activities and long days of fun outside. I love the length, breathability, and text. Super versatile, I wear them for casual wear and for mtn biking, snowboarding, hiking, and any pursuit outdoors. They are always great!

The Answer to all your Undie Needs

I was tired of keeping a dozen pair of cotton briefs so I went with one of these to try them out given their reputation. They worked great for everyday activities (work, errands, the gym) and also worked great for hiking. I recently took these with me on a week long desert camp trip and ended up having them be relatively scent free for not showering all week. Although I did not wear them seven days straight I had a solid four days in them.

A buddy of mine has had these briefs with him for at least a year now and boasts about them all the time. He hike the Long Trail in Vermont last fall and only used one pair the whole time. This was a 30 day trip where he only washed them a handful of time, in a stream, with some Dr. Bronner's soap. A great method for packing light but for using these with your everyday activities I would personally have two or three pairs.

    Like previous version better

I love Exofficio products. This one is great as well. Just not as comfortable as the previous version. The inside stitches are a little ruff, but soften up with a few washes... Still great under running shirts and other workout gear.

    The Best Boxers!

These boxers are the most comfortable ones I have ever worn. They are super soft and stretchy and are great for any activity. The sport mesh nylon material wicks moisture really well to keep you dry all day.

    Seams are scratchy

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Ordered these in 2 colors for my boyfriend. He has this same brand already. I guess these are made differently than his previous pair with more seams. The stitching down the front was so itchy they left a rash on him for days. We tried washing hoping they would soften up but they did not. Kind of disappointed.

The best underwear I've ever worn.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I wear the regular Ex-Officio boxer briefs and they are comfortable, but their sport mesh boxer briefs are even more stretchy, breathable and comfortable without being too tight. They are way superior to cotton which I stopped wearing a long time ago when I switched to synthetic. Easy to hand wash and will air dry in a few hours. I wash them on the regular cycle in cold water, but DO NOT use dryer sheets. These normally retail for about $30 a pair, but when Backcountry runs them on sale you can get them for about $22 a pair. They are well worth the added cost and I will be buying several more pairs to wear.

    Ex Officio's for Life

I rocked a pair of these for an Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike and soon found out that these were the piece that was going to keep me on pace. They kept inner thighs from chaffing, kept the scent of the trail to a minimal, and didnt pick or have holes worn through the fabric after 2,200 miles. 5 years since that long distance trip, these boxers are still going strong, with solid elastic, no holes, and quality feel of the fabric.

    Treat yourself!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had a hard time wrapping my head around why I would possibly spend this much money on a pair of boxers... but alas I gave in! 6 pairs later, I am addicted. For athletic boxer briefs, I have not found a better option when it comes to fit, comfort, and support. These are easy to clean and quick to dry when backpacking, so taking 2 pairs regardless of how long the trips is very doable. I must say that the durability isn't the best (mainly from abrasion on the inner thighs), but that is likely why the fit and comfort are so good considering the support they provide.

I purchased multiple pairs of these after reading and hearing some incredible reviews. I was willing to invest for the price because I was told that they would last me for years and survive just about anything that I put them through.
Some pairs were used over the course of a month-long backpacking trip while the other pairs I didn't bring with me have only been used for the last month or so. They were extremely comfortable and very useful out in the field.
Now that I'm back to the front country, I've noticed a pretty significant manufacturing problem. There seems to be a lot of fuzz accumulating near the crotch area, to the point where the fuzz on one leg will catch on the other, causing them to bunch up while wearing, sometimes even tearing fabric out of the briefs. It was a nuisance at first but it is continuing to accumulate and worsen. I expected that paying nearly $30 per pair meant avoiding things like that.
I did call the Exofficio offices, and the rep I spoke to said he's only just started hearing about this problem, which leads me to believe that maybe just the last few months have been bad batches. I would really discourage buying these right now because it definitely seems like the manufacturing quality has dropped recently.
Luckily they do have a lifetime satisfaction guarantee, and Exofficio is really good about exchanging malfunctioning pairs. So if you want to go ahead and get these, you can probably replace them if you run into the same problem that I had.
The picture shows some of the accumulation. The fuzz is not soft like the rest of the material. Also, notice the lines that show where some of the fabric has been ripped.

Edit: I will add that Exofficio's customer service was absolutely superb. If you do ever have a problem, give them a call and your issue will be taken care of very very well. I switched from these sportmesh briefs to the Give n' Go boxers which came in the mail this morning. I will post a review on those when I have a chance, but I just wanted to mention how refreshing their customer service was. Good on you Exofficio.

    Ditch the cotton!

These are lightweight and super comfortable. You won't even notice you have them on. Easily washed by hand (or machine). They come in cool colors and pack down into a tiny ball if you are on the road or trail.

One silly thing: they come with a huge polyester tag sewn into the waistband that had the size and laundering instructions on it. This was annoying and uncomfortable so I ended up using a small pair of sharp scissors to remove the extra tag. This tag is redundant because the size is on inside the rear waistband ExOfficio label and the laundering instructions are printed on the inside under that label. ExOfficio should ditch the annoying extra tag and drop the MSRP.
