Comfy and durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to wear for cool to slightly warm weather jogging and hiking. Works perfectly. Very comfortable and lightweight, but durable and stretchable. Hoodie keeps the sun and wind off my face and the full zip allows easy aeration in warm weather, and easy on and off. Love it

Comfortable and well made
This is a nice hoody that is comfortable and well made. The zipper works great and all the seams appear to be solid. I find that I wear it all the time.

Mens Bug away Tarka full zip
It wears beautiful on me, very soft on the skin and comfortable temperature wise...not too hot not too cold. Love the full zip allowing you to wear a shirt underneath it or alone.

features and sizing issues
I am 6'3", 245 lb, 49" chest, 40" waist. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE OVER 6 ft. Another shirt for the 5'10" XXL crowd. This shirt is SHORT. Don't bend over or sit down and expect to keep bug coverage. there is a good 2 inch gap between my pants and the hem of this Hoody when bent over or seated. When standing it just barely makes it to my waist..as long as my arms are down. In addition, there is ample room across the chest, but the back is a bit tight. What that does is causes the vent holes on the back arm seams to just hang open. This not only looks funny, it leaves a quarter sized gap in the bug coverage. Ex Officio could have left some overlap between the panels to fix that, but it would have been hard to make and maybe felt funny under a pack. The hood is oddly shaped and the elastic around the face pulls the top down. This may be due to how short the hoody is. I am returning this. It's always a risk to order XXL. You never know which body shape the garment is designed for. In this case it is the under 6 ft barrel shaped crowd.

Excellent and effective

Insect shield works
The insect shield really works! I gave it as a birthday present to my husband at a buggy campground in northeast Oregon. The mosquitos instantly disappeared. The hood helps keep them from biting your neck.
