Amazing pants for hiking.
Love these pants! They fit great and so far I have had no issues with bugs at all. I bought two pair and will likely buy more.

Inconsistent Sizing
Dark steel size 4 perfect, Tawny size 4 tight. What gives?

Strange fit, nice material
Slightly strange fit but I knew what I was getting into. Like some of the other reviewers I found that the thighs were a little tight. I definitely could not have sized down. But the waist is almost comically large on me, probably close to 5 in too big. It fits decently in the thighs and lower hips though, so it's not like it's going to fall off. This is a known issue for me, and I knew what I was getting into. So I would still recommend this product, but I hope that people know that this is a much more straight fit and is not really suitable for curvy women. You can get around that by sizing to the thighs and either taking in the waist or wearing a belt though. Not necessarily flattering but gets the job done.

comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice hiking pants. Comfortable, though a little on the baggy side, I like the extra room when hiking. Easy zip on and off. Pockets are good for smaller cell phones, probably wouldn't be able to fit the monster phone. Dry quickly.

Great features plus sizes need
During Covid I gained weight, but I am still outside just as much, but they do not make plus sized pants :-(

Uncomfortable zippers
Gave these a three star rating because I had to return them due to the zippers used to turn them into shorts being too uncomfortable on my skin. The fit was good otherwise.

Shorts too short for older wom
The shorts are too short for older women so I’ll exchange for a non-convertible pair. Otherwise they are a great quality pant.

Weird Fit, Quality Materials
I was excited about these, but they ended up fitting me very oddly. The quality of the fabric and stitching is really nice, but the fit seems off. I normally wear between a size 6 - 8, depending on brand. For reference, I am 5'6, 160 lbs. I ordered an 8 in these. However when I tried them on, they were too long, too baggy in the pelvic/crotch area, yet too tight where the zipper for converting the pants is located, and it squeezed my thighs in a very uncomfortable and unflattering way. I can't imagine hiking for long like that. I don't think a size up or down would help because the pants are too big and too small at the same time, in different locations on my body. I am a touch curvy, but not inordinately thick in the thigh region, so I was disappointed at the discomfort of the zipper section. I've not had this issue with any other pants before. If you are tall and skinny/lanky in the legs, these will probably work well for you. As a wee bit of a curvier lady, I am going to try the Impervia Leggings instead and see if they provide a more comfortable and tailored fit.

Love these pants
I love the fit, and that they still look like normal shorts when you zip the legs off!
