These are the ones to buy!

Travel through Amazon and Galapagos required bug-resistant and lightweight clothing. These pants, and also matching jacket, performed awesomely. Clothes are light, dry fast, durable, comfortable and stylish even in the jungle! Great value for the dollar, will have for life.

Fit and bug repellent

Fit was perfect and worked great on a recent buggy hike!

Over-all a win

Really like the weight of the pants. They feel well ventilated and I like the pockets and belt loops. I swapped out the thin cord on the bottom of each leg for a thicker stretch band with a slide lock for adjusting. Love that much more. Not so cutting. Otherwise a winner. As a shrinking getting older woman I do appreciate the petite sizing option very much.

Great pants

Super comfortable. Repels bugs and good sun protection too. Lightweight and dries quickly.

Improved Design

This is the second pair of Damselfly pants that I have purchased. This pair is much better than the first pair. Love the venting in the legs - perfect for hotter days.

No bites!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are great for evening walks, they are breathable and keep the bugs off. My only wish is that they’d have some stretch. Then they’d be perfect.

Tick pants

I got these for hiking to be safe from ticks. They are lightweight, but will require socks because the ankle is so loose. I love the lightweight leggings!

Damselfly long pants

Great pants, light weight, perfect for summer. I wish knew if it has an spf rating.

Comfortable, wearable, cute

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased these they only had a petite in the color I wanted. I am 5'8" but figured I could tuck them into boots or wear them as capris. They are tapered, so they don't look like "high waters" and they are nice enough to wear for business casual, durable and comfy enough to chase after my twins.

thin, poor construction

Longtime exofficio customer, have always been satisfied in the past with their products. This one though, the pants are very lightweight as echoed by other reviewers. There didn't seem to be concerns about durability though so I opted to buy these for hiking in Maine backcountry where black flies and mosquitoes can be intense. The pants were great for our first backpacking trip -- no issues with bugs. However, on two hikes involving minor rock scrambling, the pants teared in multiple places. Not rock climbing mind you, just clambering up rocks. Very disappointed. In summary, 5/5 for bug protection, 1/5 for durability.
