Why We Like The Phantom Climbing Shoe
The Phantom Climbing Shoe is Evolv's premier shoe for the pinnacle of performance whether you're bouldering at your limits or sport climbing something extremely overhung. It combines Evolv's three most aggressive features for hard climbing. TPS+ (Tension Power System Plus) maintains the shoe's aggressive downturn and sharp asymmetry for life, and AVT (Abridged Variable Thickness) varies the shoe's stiffness from toe to heel. The toe's extremely stiff to ensure proper precision on technical terrain, while the heel flexes to conform to heel hook securely. Lastly, Neoflex neoprene covers Evolv's comfortable Knuckle Box to increase shape retention overtime. The Phantom's compression closure system uses a six-point, single-pull strap to provide a quick-and-easy fit. Evolv made the Phantom Climbing Shoe with a Synthratek XV encapsulated in Trax SAS rubber that also covers the toe and arch for supreme traction.

Great sport/bouldering shoe
Heel fits perfectly. Not a sensitive shoe, but sticky rubber and aggressive shape.

Way too tight
I have small narrow feet, size 5 women's. Couldn't fit my foot into them.

Fantastic Shoe
I've been using this shoe for the past 2 months, and I'm really enjoying it. Very comfortable for me, and it sticks to the smallest foot holds leaving me with the confidence I needed. I have only used these shoes in the gym so I'm not sure how they are outdoors. I would definitely buy again!

Fits my foot great
Finally issue that I can use my toe and my heel. Always found shoes that the toe is good but he would never stay or never fit correctly. This one has a narrow enough heel to fit my foot.

Phenomenal shoe
This shoe is truly great. Fits amazing on my foot, super secure heel, great toe. The strap system works well and keeps the shoe feeling tight. Rubber sticks great, tons of friction, and you get a good feel of the rock. Can’t recommend these enough.

My Warthogs
If I was stranded on a desert island with world class climbing and bouldering, and I could bring only one pair of climbing shoes, it would be my Phantoms. They fit me better than any shoe ever, and perform across a wide range of routes and problems. I call them my "Warthogs": Ugly as Heck, but will destroy anything that crosses their path.

AMAZING!

Like a hack
The phantoms are a verified hack…. It’s like having springs in your feet. Stiff, oddly sensitive and comfortable. Love love love them on the board.

The best bouldering shoes
I bought these shoes for outdoor bouldering. The entire structure is robust and precision built. Very good for wide feet with, the shoe gives little and adapts very well to the foot. I bought my street Number (42,5 EU) I recommend it
